We had the best time at the Danieli. The most beautiful property in a perfect location. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, doing everything they can to add to your stay. Rooms were typically Venetian and beds were super comfy.
Breakfast on the terrazza was exceptional, food was superb and views were incredible. Dante the bird added to the experience. It was our second time here, thank you Danieli, we will be back!

Loved everything about the property except for one thing. Went to their restaurant La Terraza. I was very surprised to see men dressed in shorts. Many guest had on jacket and ties. In fact, there were some children dressed better then there adult guests. Really didn’t expect to see this at a dinner that cost well over 400.00. Staff and food were some.

Wonderful breakfast - the best I've ever had. Lovely large rooms (quite a rarity in Venice) and attentive staff. The only small disappointment was that there were no tea making facilities in the rooms, however, we were given lots of fresh fruit, water, and Spumante which more that made up for it!

The room space was tight, and the view to the building next door was disappointing. The breakfast area on the roof was outstanding.

After being given a very small room we were delivered to be upgraded to a much nicer room with a beautiful view and big balcony. Sadly only stayed for two nights but would have welcomed being given the bigger room on are. It’s a stunning location and the hotel is steeped in history but it’s the most expensive hotel we’ve stayed in… and in addition we had to pay extra for breakfast! Which was lovely but really £1k for a small room and breakfast not included!

Service was impeccable and the hotel is absolutely beautiful! The Sunday brunch was superb and the terrace rooftop provided the best view of the canal in all of Venice!! Would definitely come back at stay here again!

Everything was great, except I wished the staff told us upon check in that our room could have been sprayed against mosquitoes.

3rd time staying at The Danelli, always a delight. Current upgrades to the hotel are unobtrusive and I will be looking forward to seeing the results in the future.

Amazing hotel, but not the best experience right out the front door:
You walk right into trinket carts, water bus stops, and thousands of tourists.

This is our second time at Hotel Danieli. What a wonderful place! The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable- special kudos to concierge Max - however, since we plan to come back and we want this hotel to remain as one of the best hotels in Venezia, I recommend that they improve their room service menu- we ordered a chicken sandwich (34€) and they brought us a cold chicken sandwich that we could’ve bought at any 7 eleven @ $3.00 - no garnish whatsoever, not even chips or a small fruit or any kind of detail that reminds you the great experience of being at a luxury 5 star hotel in Venice, just the plain sandwich on a small white plate.
