About this house rental
Mission Azul is your own personal retreat nestled in the mountains just south of Palm Springs. The secluded backyard features a 15’ privacy hedge, pool, spa, fire pit, banquet table, luxury chaise lounges, and bistro lighting. Newly redesigned with Spanish mission decor, the open-concept kitchen, living, and dining room are perfect for entertaining. The grand parlor room has 14’ ceilings, a statement candelabra chandelier, a bar and wine fridge, and sophisticated lounge seating.
The Space:
Mission Azul’s tall ceilings and numerous windows let in bountiful natural light, which we’ve balanced with the warm earth tones of Spanish mission decor, including custom Spanish tile work, exposed wood ceiling rafters, well-crafted furnishing, refined art, and beautiful indoor plants. Combining the traditional Spanish mission style that is the heritage of Southern California with iconic modern pieces for which Palm Springs is known, Mission Azul creates a familiar yet fresh vibe in the heart of Coachella Valley.
Above all, we’ve prioritized comfort and quality in the design of our home, from mattresses and pillows (SweetNight) to sofas, lounge chairs, and lighting. Each bedroom is designed for maximum comfort with hotel-quality bedding and thoughtful touches including independent climate control, smart TVs, luggage racks, and easy access to bedside tables, lighting, and plug-ins.
Mission Azul has a fully automated private pool and spa set in a lush backyard lined with mature ficus hedges and palm trees, providing a totally private desert resort experience. Three wide and luxurious hotel-style chaise loungers line the pool and are partially shaded under a pergola. A long banquet-style dining table sits under a fully shaded awning creating the perfect setting any time of day for an outdoor meal cooked on the natural gas grill. A few steps away from the hot tub sits a gas fire pit with plush seating for eight so you can enjoy the cool desert nights under the warm glow of the fire and bistro lights.
