We absolutely loved the large enclosed yard for the dogs. The house did get a little hot but we went swimming and cooled off. We opened windows at night including the downstairs door - we put our dog kennels in the doorway to keep out any animals. We would close up by 1000 in the morning. The upstairs AC’s were kept on at 70 degrees and the cool air “sank” down into living room. We used the swamp cooler for only 1 week. The rest of the month was comfortable for us. The neighbors were awesome, very friendly. We walked to the public beach several times to swim. We fished several different lakes & had a blast! Some days were busts but we ate everything we caught. We would definitely stay here again!
There is a problem with the dryer…it leaves small brown/orange streaks on some parts of your wash. A repairman did come and change out the seal but that didn’t help.

It was my first stay in the area - actually my first stay in Montana. House was clean and comfortable.

Overall it was nice and a great location. I would of liked better communication with the management company/owners. The property manager told us that there would be water toys and upon arriving we looked everywhere but none were to be found. When I inquired about them Shannon stated that she was sorry she must of meant another property. Also one of the ONLY reasons we went with this particular home was that we were told we had lake access a short walking distance. When we did go. to spend time at the lake and dock with gazebo, the gate was locked and required the code so I tried a code that was on paperwork in the home but it did not work! I called Shannon and actually spoke to another woman in the office first and she stated to me that the homes in that neighborhood no longer had access and they had forgotten to disclose that beforehand . Wow, yet another very important detail left out. Very disappointing. One more thing, upon arriving there was a broken dining room chair just sitting upside down in the corner and one of the bedrooms upstairs door to the balcony was being held closed by a chair up against and no way to close it all the way or even lock it! These were fixed for the last two days we stayed, we rented the home for 7 nights and 6 days. We will chose another property next time we come to visit.

The home was nice but a few things were not as described as they were in the listing or during any of my phone conversations. It states in the listing that there is A/C in the home. There was a wall A/C in the very upstairs bedroom. The rest of the home had fans. This is very misleading to people that require and need A/C in the summer months. I also specifically asked the property manager if there was A/C in the home and was assured there was. When we got there I called and asked how to get the A/C to turn on and was told about all the stand up fans in the house and that those would cool it off. I was also told to open all the windows. Yet in the house book it warns you of bears and mountain lions so we weren't really comfortable keeping the windows open. Also, it is advertised as having RV parking. If you have a super tiny trailer that can fit on a small pad in front of the garage than it would work. There is no way you can get an RV through the gate where they told us to put it. It would not have fit and it would have taken out the trees that are hanging over and part of the roof of the garage. We barely were able to get our F350 through and had to put the side mirrors in to do that. Lastly, be carful of all the broken stones by the steps going up to the front porch. They are loose and dangerous. It was a nicely decorated and clean home. Lots of stairs to get to the bedrooms whether upstairs or downstairs. It wasn't a pleasant stay for us because of the heat and having no A/C as was advertised and conveyed to us. It was cooler outside than inside the home. We wouldn't stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to come back soon! The house was beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need inside. The beds were very comfy and such a nice, quiet neighborhood. Outside was wonderful to let the little ones play in the fenced yard, bbq, and enjoy the apple and pear trees. The lake was a short distance away and perfect spot for anyone with a boat. We look forward to coming back again next year!

Very well maintained & updated chalet with plenty of room for our group of 5 adults. Located in a neighborhood that was quiet and we felt very comfortable there. You are able to walk to Flathead Lake but needed to drive to all other locations, all of which were very close by. We had a great time & look forward to coming back!

Our family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay at this Woods Bay Cabin. The home was well appointed very clean and in a very convenient location! The lake access from both the private beach at the bay and the public park on the lake was fantastic. Bigfork is Wonderful little town and about a 7 minute drive. The market is also only about 8 to 10 minutes away with everything a regular grocery store has. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood the neighbors were all very friendly and the Woods Bay community is fantastic. The property manager was friendly and available and very helpful. We would definitely stay again. We loved the house and we would buy it if it were for sale!
