Very good Hotel. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was not as big as I wanted but big enough for us 3. We didn't spend too much time in it. Breakfast was very good. Very nice neighborhood and about 15 to 20 minutes from different sites. One downside was our bathroom had a sewer gas smell that they could not get rid of. But we stayed in the room anyway because we were gone all day till late night. But that was the only downside of our stay.

It is located few blocks inside from main road, away from street noise.

Fantastic hotel, not far from lots of tourist attractions, staff couldn't have been more helpful. Excellent breakfast! Very clean, very modern. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Well managed facility. Well located near Termini (and the bus station to go there). Excellent helpful staff, great breakfast, great clean room (refreshed on a daily basis). Had great time. Don't hesitate.
BTW1: We decided to not go on summer time but rather in April. This works - Rome, even in April, is very hot.
BTW2: Ask for a room with a street window.

We were coming off our stay in Venice at a very elegant hotel and did not not know what to expect at Hotel Londra. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the Londra. The hotel facilities was great and the staff was very courteous. The service was prompt. We would highly recommend the hotel. The only minor issue was the distance of the hotel (about 15 minutes walk) from Termini, which is a major train station in Rome.

My wife and I have visited Rome dozens of times and stayed at this particular hotel on the last four occasions. We find the hotel in a very pleasant, quiet and convenient location. It is about five or six minutes walk from the Via Veneto area, with Harry's Bar (always traditionally our first port of call) a further few minutes away. Most central Rome sightseeing locations are also within walking distances probably with the exception of the Vatican and Trastevere areas (which we usually taxi there (about 10/12 Euros) and walk back to other locations around Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Colloseum, designer shops, etc. The hotel itself is most pleasant with the usual quality facilities. The staff are helpful, considerate, courteous and very obliging. I would highly recommend this hotel for either new or regular visitors to Rome.

Londra & Cargill is always my priority default choice because of its location and convenience. Staff are all friendly, hotel is a quiet square and hotel itself is not large or big so you never encounter noisy crowds over breakfast.

Hotel was very clean and well kept. Staff efficient but not very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Bar prices ridiculously expensive probably why no one was there. Location good within easy reach of piazza barbarini and termini. Lots of reasonable restaurants nearby and takeaways to choose from. Very quiet location no sign of terrace as shown in photos.

enjoyed our stay with the friendly staff who were always willing to help and concerned about us. Thankyou to all

Don’t book this hotel. Neither the accomodation, facilities, or service from the staff is 4 star. At best this is a very expensive 2 star hotel in a filthy residential area.
The staff at reception are unfriendly and abrupt. For example, after waking up at night drenched in sweat we asked about the air con, we were told they would put it on that day. They put the air con on, but the maid switched it off in our room, so when we returned at about 6pm we had to switch it back on. Thank goodness, the room cooled down. Temporarily. That night we awoke drenched in sweat again! Asked at reception again and they said they only put the air con on for 6hours. To be clear, the room temp was about 20C hotter than outside, and it was 20C outside. You could open the window but the noise from construction and the kitchen immediately downstairs was unbearable and impossible to sleep through.
Wi-fi - slow & intermittent.
Furniture - cheap rubbish, the bed appalling & ancient.
The surrounding area is filthy, full of dog mess.
On the first day we asked where we could go buy some bottled water, we were told there were bottles in the room. There were 2 tiny bottles. These, when drunk, bottles were not replaced once in a week. When we explained that wasn't enough water & we’d still like to buy more, we were sneered at & told with a shrug that it was a local holiday so nothing was open. Which was a load of rubbish. Shops were open, we just had to find them ourselves. Do not book this hotel.

The hotel lists an Airport shuttle as an amenity. However you must call in advance and it is a 45 Euro fee.

While the hotel facilities are excellent, the front desk staff are not geared to dealing with tourists. Their ability to impart useful information was limited. The interest in helping tourists was not evident.

The hotel was very clean with really friendly and helpful staff. I would like to recommend this hotel. It is located within walking distance to main tourist attractions.

We have just returned from a short stay at the Londra & Cargill hotel in Rome. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the Metro station Barberini and only a short taxi ride from the main Termini railway station. Buffet breakfast was included which was very nice with a lot of choice. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very nice room, friendly staff and great breakfast. Good restaurant and homemade gelato place nearby.

Just returned from a 3 night stay which we really enjoyed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, little bit out of the way but if your happy to walk then it's not a problem! Rooms are lovely and big. Would highly recommend!!!

Well located in upscale neighborhood near good dining, not far fro Via Veneto. Staff is excellent, breakfast very good. A tranquil hotel with all the necessities at a very reasonable price. For Rome, the rooms are large and have well appointed bathrooms, good air conditioning, and no street traffic noise even on the 1st floor rooms. I have been here on six different occasions, on business as well as with my family, and feel it is a top choice in Rome.
