Absolutely adored the quietness of the area, even if the hotel was full, the pool area was quiet. Likes the option to have meals on the patio. The lakes offer many options plus have great beaches that do not get overcrowded. Great staff also at the hotel. Very friendly and caring.

Check in was smooth. Our apartment was clean and well furnished. The deck was nice and a lovely view overlooking the pool. The pillows were very flat but that’s the only negative. Well, a fan would be nice also but with both doors open there’s a nice breeze.

Second time at a Pierre & Vacances, same challenges as last time - lousy WiFi (evn when paying the €15 charge), the worlds smallest TV and no AC.
It is a pity, the apartments are well planned in good locations - but need an uplift.

Our apartment with one bedroom is very clean , there are only two of us but it can accommodate 4-6 people. It was short walk to the lake and short drive to the beach. The reception is open early until 12nn and re-opens at 16:00 therefore it is something to note.

We had a great time in Biscarrosse, the staff were wonderful.
I wish they had a fan or ceiling fans. I can't imagine what it would be like in the heat of the summer. We were there beginning of October.

A warm welcome greeted our arrival and the staff could not do enough to help us or our toddler son during our stay. Our self catering apartment had all we required for our short visit, including basic cleaning essentials. You are required to make your own bed upon arrival using the providing bedding, however this is not unusual in this style of property. Only suggestion as to what was missing would be for a small shop to purchase daily essentials. We could pre-order bread but needed to collect staples such as milk whilst off-site. A good stock of children's play-items available for loan at reception.

Spent 12 days Glamping, needed a stop gap en route airport one night, what a mistake staying here; check in closes at 12;00 and doesn't get attended until 16:00 (official check in 17:00 !) Check in did not accept we'd paid the website in full in advance and wanted me to pay again - I had to phone the bank in UK to confirm (at my cost ! and lucky it was business hours) They need a copy of the booking and are happy to sell you a WiFi card for you to forward it to them right there and then. Rooms very basic, was expecting a lot better given we could 5* glamp for 4 nights at that price. Towels cost extra and supply everything yourself, nothing apart from crockery. The rooms were unbearably hot at night, no AC, no ceiling fans, no portable fans provided. Extractor fans in windowless toilet and kitchen did not work. Owner doesn't take the 'risk' of supplying croissants for breakfast unless ordered the day before. If you need a shop, we eventually found a good one at Camping Mguide, which is where we'll go next time given they were so helpful. Be aware parking on the lake front costs, but walking from the hotel is a fairly long walk for small kids in the day time heat so not ideal. If we never return to Pierre & Vacances again, it'll be too soon :-)

The staff were extremely helpful. Facilities ( swimming pool, washing machines and tumble dryers in in communal area) on site were excellent. The apartment we stayed in was clean and well kitted out, microwave / grill combi, cooker, fridge etc. Really nice place , would definitely stay there again
