Room was very small,

The river view and outside patio area were recently upgraded.
The inn is on the main road and traffic noise could be heard.
The inn is very old and the rooms and hallways are in need of renovation. Floors in room slant very noticeably and this is disorienting. Tiny rooms. Tiny closet. Sub standard bathroom. Sheetrock peeling.
Coffee machine in room with 4-5 coffee pods but only 2 little milk cups. Inn charges $1.00 for each extra milk cup! About two tablespoons of milk!
Would never go back.
We did not like this place at all.

Old and small-terrible bathroom for a b&b extremely overpriced for amenities provided.

This property is the quintessential VT experience. It is close to town, quiet, on a beautiful landscape and very cozy.
I had the delicious breakfasts daily and would recommend that all guests do so at least one morning.
It is an old farmhouse and that is the charm, so there could be some sacrifices for the luxury hotel guest including a small shower, no TVs in your room, and an “older smell” to the property.
However, this was my VT fantasy for a great experience. Book it!
I highly recommend a stay

Great Inn, so clean and the beds were so comfortable. Mara, the owner was very friendly until she told us in a not so friendly way that we could no longer sit outside by the fireplace.

The Lincoln Inn is a cute, cozy getaway close to the heart of Woodstock VT. The rooms are well appointed with lovely furnishings and the patio is a great place to grab a drink at the end of a busy day.

Was comfortable. Served breakfast but all other food service was closed. No TV in room, except for room 1. Bar and lounge were very cute.

First trip to Vermont and we picked a great place to stay. Great breakfast and very friendly owner. Will definitely return.

Loved the covered bridge ….Mara was very accommodating! The chef ‘s grilled veggies for bkft were really good and her egg white omelet was So Fluffy & Delicious! YUM
We were alittle concerned w/ 3 way extention plugs in bdr considering the age of the property !
Would have preferred One really comfortable chair vs the 2 straight back chairs in the yellow bdr!
A fire in the frpl stove would have been really nice as the evenings were cooler & living room was chilly! …a nice ambiance too!
Guests who chose not to partake in your 7course dining experience felt alittle Out of place and a fifth wheel…We understand or feel your focus is on those meals….
We absolutely loved everything about your breakfast : granola/jams/vegetables/egg white white omelets !

This property is adorable. We had a room with a queen bed and a twin bed. My entire party felt the beds were very comfortable, and the Inn itself is charming. Breakfast was amazing!

The view is amazing. But they should work on the wifi connection. It's a little bit spotty at times.

We spent two nights in the Inn, eating one night in the restaurant. The inn was perfectly satisfactory for an older place. Doors creaked, the floors were slightly crooked, the beds were older, but the real delight of the place was the gourmet restaurant at the Inn. We would highly recommend the 7 course Prefixe dinner. Imaginative, very unique, and truly delicious!

If you stay here, plan on at least one night of the seven-course chef tasting menu with the wine pairing -- though that might make negotiating the narrow staircase up to the second-floor bedrooms more challenging than usual. Lovely spot in a pretty town, and do take some time in the evening to sit by the river in one of those white Adirondack chairs, and watch the stars come out.

The owner and General Manager was friendly, professional and has excellent people skills. Really enjoyed our stay at this excellent Inn.

I went for a solo trip in order to recharge and have quiet relaxation. The Lincoln Inn delivered exactly that! The daily breakfast is amazing, with my preferences being remember and delivered without a hitch. The seven course meal by Chef is the best I have ever eaten, hands down. Anything, within reason, I asked for was delivered quickly and by good spirits. I will make the Lincoln Inn a new annual destination. But next time, I brings friends!
