Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine. The place was super cold when we entered and took all night to warm up using the isolated heaters. The smoke detector battery is dead and it was chirping, I had to pull it down to stop it chirping. No instructions for wifi use. We booked for 6, there was only bedding and towels for 4. The water heater was turned off, I had figure out how to turn it on to get hot water. I would look elsewhere.

Although there were enough towels in the room, there was no shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryer, so we didn't use the shower.
The handle of the kitchen sink was falling off.
There was no spare toilet roll either.
Above all, the check-in process was very complicated, which caused us a lot of trouble...

Sadly in the current condition I would not recommend staying at this property, I’m disappointed in hotels.com for allowing properties like this on their site.
The bathroom had dead flys in the bath on arrival and the floor it damp and mouldy. It’s needs taking up. That bathroom smells strongly of mould. There’s a big windows opposite the bath and shower and although it’s frosted, neighbours can see in, it really needs a blind.
The back yard is full of rubbish which looks like it’s been there since the person who left the last review and it’s still there now.
No key to the back door which limits an evacuation if there was a fire.
There’s was food splatted up the walls which would have easily been cleaned off but had not been.
There’s no plug for the kitchen sink
The sofa and rug had slug trails on it.
We paid for an accommodation with Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. There was no aerial for the tv so we could not watch tv. No communication on the second day that the internet had been fixed so we returned disappointed to the accommodation and had to pay for extra data on our phones to connect the tv so the kids had something to watch.
One of the single beds needs the mattress changing as it sinks to one side.
No wardrobes or dressing table in bedrooms so clothes stayed in case.
The most dangerous thing was a big clock that wasn’t fixed to the wall fell on my daughters head and smashed. I see they never listens to the previous feedback.

I stayed here for two nights for business but never again. I wanted to leave as soon as I got there. A small terraced house that was done as cheaply as possible. Tv but without channels, if you wanted to watch TV you had to bring your own logins for Netflix etc, didn’t know that until I got there- not even basic channels. Nowhere to hang clothes or put clothes in so had to use chairs in the kitchen as hangers and left my case on the kitchen table and took things out from there, bedding felt bobbly and dreadful, beer bottles in the back yard on the floor just left. A tiny bit of toilet roll left with no spare, large clock on fireplace put on an angle, which I found out that it wasn’t fixed when it hit me on the head. Kitchen but only two pans and nothing else to cook with. I could of joined in with the conversation next door it was so clear, bath with shower over downstairs with frosted big window, but no blinds as well there and bearing in mind the neighbour were less that 5 feet away I didn’t want to use it. There were lies of other things but for £270 for two nights in stoke - stay elsewhere.

Great communication from owner before & after stay. property was clean, but tired in places. We were heading to Alton Towers so was a perfectly good place for 1 night at a reasonable price.
