Welcome to Malvern, a charming three-story traditional cottage nestled in the heart of Ambleside, Cumbria. This delightful Lakeland retreat is the perfect home base for families, couples, or friends, offering a spacious open-plan living area, three cozy bedrooms that can accommodate up to six guests, permit parking for one car, and a private enclosed patio garden.
After a day of exploring the Lake District, gather around the six-person dining table to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Following dinner, relax in the inviting seating area, where a gas fireplace adds a touch of warmth as you watch your favourite TV show. On summer evenings, you can unwind in your private patio garden, complete with outdoor seating, or make use of the separate utility room conveniently located on the ground floor.
The first floor hosts a super-king-size zip/link bedroom, a king-size bedroom and a modern shower room. The second floor offers another king-size bedroom and a stylish contemporary bathroom, ensuring everyone has their own space to relax and refresh.
Ambleside is a charming destination for your Lake District getaway. Enjoy dining at popular local spots like The Old Stamp House Restaurant, The Glass House set in a beautifully renovated sawmill or Dodds Restaurant. The town's shops provide everything you need for a self-catering stay.
There’s plenty to do in the area, including visiting Ambleside Roman Fort, Stock Ghyll Force, Ambleside Climbing Wall and two local cinemas. The surrounding fells and picturesque scenery offer excellent hiking opportunities right from your doorstep.
