Awful. Avoid. I can't express how terrible this company is - it's a complete basket case. We booked a double room with private bathroom at OYO Lime Grove and received a confirmation of this by email. Weeks later, we checked our booking online to find the details had changed - a double room with shared bathroom at OYO Oban Victoria (apparently the same building with a different name). We phoned and spoke to a very unhelpful person who seemed to be experiencing their first ever phone call. We decided to keep our booking and make the best of it, for practical reasons. The hotel requested that we pay in advance via their online portal and also upload a copy of our passport, which we did. On the day of check in, we received confirmation codes and door entry codes whilst travelling to london. An hour later we received an email (addressed to Julia, whoever she is) saying '...due to some unfortunate circumstances we are unable to accommodate your booking... we've initiated a refund which will reach you in 7 to 14 days..." I phoned them immediately and they were unable to give me a reason for the cancellation. Their website and expedia etc continued to show that they had ample availability, in all of their hotels across central London, at a now higher price. We arrived in London in the dark, but were lucky to find alternative accom'n elsewhere at a similar price. The refund arrived the following morning, but they now have all our details including a copy of our passports.

I was sent information about the key code to enter then a week later I was sent a new one. On arrival the new code did not work and I tried 5 times. The neighbours were outside and they suggested I phone the number on the hotel sign. This I did but there was only a recorded message. So I tried the original key code and that worked.
Once in the room it was very cold and there were no towels. There was no one around to ask for towels etc. There was no bedside light so you have to turn the light off and stumble to find the bed.
Then there was noise from a neighbouring room which seemed to be from another guest complaining about the lack of service. After midnight there was a loud bang as if someone was trying to break in. Then the alarm sounded for about 10 minutes. I was too scared to see what was going on.
When I left the next morning 21 November at 9am I found the front door open and the lock broken and a pair of man’s brown shoes on the front doorstep.
I hardly slept due to the disturbance and was terrified. Also I was unable to wash due to the lack of towels.
My worst hotel experience ever and I am unable to contact the hotel to leave a review as there is a problem with their website.
I now no longer have faith in hotels.com although I have previously had good experiences.

The front door was broken. The room was already rented out when I arrived. No response from the hotel. Three other families could not get into their rooms. I will never stay with anything that has this name. Run the other direction.

I reached out three times and no one even bothered to help or respond. The room was absolutely dirty and disgusting, not even cleaned or hoovered. The worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty room, dirty bathroom and the alarm down stairs had a fault which was triggering a annoying beeping sound. Awful awful terrible place.

Could not sray so lost our money as could not cope with online check in and no reception. Feel that for older people it is not possible also do not feel safe with no person on site. Phoned day before and did not get any help not happy. Waste of our money.

Regular user of budget hotels. This one is truly awful. Was entirely locked out for one evening, with no support from hotel. Dirty room, no hot water, no towels, no side light, no iron. Awful

There are no staff on duty. The door to the room "worked" off a keypad. Twice I got locked out of the room despite having filled in all the required online form. Second time I waited two hours to be let in. So I grabbed my bad and left a day early

My self and daughter went for holiday and found the room in a shocking state. There was dangerous poisoning rodent bait left under the bed, on the floor, and beneath the radiator, all accessible to children and pets. Additionally, the sheets/pillows were dirty
I've spent the last two days monitoring my daughter to ensure she didn't accidentally ingest the bait. Unfortunately, she did touch and smell it, mistaking it for perfume. This substance poses serious risks; it can harm the skin on contact and damage the lungs if inhaled, potentially leading to severe consequences if ingested.

Unable to get access into the property the code given did not work. Contacted support number given but did not get any help or support. Left outside for hours no shelter ended up having to leave and pay for another hotel. Two other guests had the same problem.

Access code not working to be able to enter the property, a guest let us in the building and acess code was not working to enter room. After more then 1/2 of waiting and trying to open a personal comes and tells us the room is not clean or ready.She walks in with some pillow cases and a spray. Bed sheets were not changed just made the bed with the dirty sheets that the last person used.Sheets were staind carpet was dirty full of crumbs, a towel is placed behind the toilet to collect dirty toilet water (this had a very bed smell) no hot water until 12am at night no A/C or fan and window would not open more then a crack. The please roomsign was put nodody ever came to clean or take out trash. Strong moldy smell. Did not have access to my room until more then an hour after check in time.

Oyo customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. When getting in touch with then they ask for booking id. When i say never received one , they repeat we needylir booking id.
When i ask cant you search by name , answer is no.
Leave it to you to make your mind up on thst one , normal hotel will find your booking by name.

The hotel has no reception. The PIN code for the door didn’t work. 3 of us were left stranded outside and eventually we all had to find new hotel. !

That hotel doesn’t have any cup for drinking tea or coffee. No hair dryer. As a disabled woman, I went to the end floor of the house!! Terrible night on that property

No heater in room working. It was freezing cold. No hot water in the room. So shower with cold water in a freezing room. Bathroom is a torture. Hardly 2 feet in width. No better than a person. Complanied about the property to OYO and Expedia 2 days in a row. No action was taken

Little difficult to find. Main road was a little bit noisy. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again. No receptionist and it was self check in.
