The Thistles is set over four floors and has four bedrooms sleeping six guests. The living areas in this property consist of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a lower-ground-floor utility with a washing machine, a dining room with seating for six and a flame-effect gas fire and a sitting room with a TV and a gas fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a double and two second-floor singles, along with a second-floor bathroom and a shower room. Outside, there is off-road parking and an enclosed rear patio with furniture. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Apologies, but this property doesn't accept pets or smoking. For your local convenience, there is a shop within 0.3 miles and a pub within 0.2 miles. Escape to the lakes with a retreat to The Thistles. Note: No children under 5.

The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There is also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake. The area is ideally situated for exploring all that this region has to offer, whether by foot, bike, car, railway or bus; and is within easy reach of attractions such as the spectacular Langdales, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park, with its delightful walks and famous outdoor sculptures, mountain biking and 'Go-Ape' adventure park, Ullswater, Kendal, Keswick, stone circles, Roman forts and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike.
