The environment is quite enough to have a rest. The hotel provides variety of food and all are delicious!

Ryokan which was slightly disappointing in many aspects.

The food was delicious and generous . The private onsen was nice. You could access the station, albeit via steep steps and a bus.

The rooms were very badly designed , awkward to get around. the private onsen, though fun, made the room rather claustrophobic. The only public space was the lobby. You were chased out of the dining room immediately the meal was finished.

Superb

We stayed for one night and the highlight was the dinner and breakfast. The room had a onsen which was lovely. We found it easy to access the hotel from the station but we are used to walking up steps.

i stayed two night and the dinner is good.

Many insects at the corridor and we need to open and close the door immediately when we go in and out. No lift in the hotel. Need to carry our luggages to the third floor.

Highly recommend for couple and family stays.

The private onsen and kotatsu were fantastic. The food was sooooo good.

I would love to have a place to shower though.

A very authentic experience

You get a very traditional authentic experience when staying at this hotel, both regarding the food and the style of the room. The staff was very nice, but their English skills were not very good. We had a private onsen bath in our room which was clearly the highlight of the stay.

It was a bit difficult to get to the hotel, I think even harder if you don't know any Japanese at all. The madres' on the beds were to hard for our taste and cold wind from the outside could be felt weeping in from the terasse doors.

Onsen review

Private onsen. But public onsen will not except anyone with tattoos. Maybe adjust the tattoo policy?

Breakfast shops have included sweet items such as bread and yogurt. I wasn’t a fan of eating fish early in the morning.
