Fantastisch! Fantastic.

The owners and staff were so friendly and attentive! The location is breathtaking. The food was very nice and not at all expensive. A place that we will always remember.

Fabulous area with wonderful local restaurants. We’ll worth a visit.

Beautifully rustic and charming. Wonderful views and great staff. Large pool with plants if sun loungers etc….

Loved Melies!

Great food at great prices for dinner! Nice pool area. Fabulous views. Good served breakfast. The room had a living room and 2nd bedroom in loft. Loved tea and coffee service in room. We loved the chalet feel! A true king bed and the most comfortable we had in the Peloponnese!

Would have preferred buffet for breakfast vs service since it was carb heavy. But great coffee, juice and fruit!

Excellent service and accommodations

Everything about our experience at Melies Hotel was excellent! Staff were wonderful, food was delicious, views and the beauty of the property were amazing, accommodations were spacious and comfortable with a nice little balcony overlooking the serene landscape. We even received assistance from hotel staff prior to our stay in procuring an interpreter who was amazing as well during a local excursion. We will always pick this hotel for future stays in the Sparti/Tripoli area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Well designed building, with every thing needed to have a good stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Views of the mountains and the Lakonian plains below are very pretty. Breakfast was great. The staff is very nice.

It is slightly difficult to find, but with patience and attention you get there. Only 10' from the center of Sparti, roads narrow but good.

Nice place if you are easy going and have a lot of time

The architekt of the buildings made a good job. The decoration is a question of personal taste. The staff was very nice. If you travel by car, the location is good. Comfortable parking. If you have a lot of luggage, ask for an apartment on ground floor (there are stairs).

The hotel is presented like 4*. Based on services, it is not. It seems like a hotel managed by a group of friends who are not from the hospitality business. There is no professional staff and the food preparation took ages. It seems that the only waiter= cook. Breakfast is included in the price but it is served and at very low cost (no butter, no cheese, no salami/ham/bacon, no fresh fruit/veggies, white bread only, margarin and cheap marmelades in plastic, lukewarm coffee with milk was weak and bad; you get a bowl od white yogurt, some high fat pastries and you can order very good fried crepes and eggs (eggs were fine but I waited half an hour for them). The menu is very limited and dominated by frozen pizzas and meat fried on a pan. It is a pitty - with minor changes and trained staff this accomodation could have even a luxurious atmosphere. The reality is by cca 30 EUR overpriced - I compare with similar hotels in Olympia and Dephi.

Beautifull resort, and exceptional staff

wonderfull place on top Sparta new town. Large rooms and nice swimming pool. I needed of a dentist for a small urgence, staff provide to Yelp me contaci immediate doctor in downtown. Thanks again!

Melies Hotel is a hidden Gem tucked in hills of olive groves on the edge of Sparta. We will return here on our next vis

The views, quality, size and style of the rooms. The level of customer service we received from the staff is unparalleled. They knew who we were at every contact even after shift change which was amazing.

Impressive view from the hotel, very nice restaurant with exciting menu and helping and welcoming service.

Breakfast could be better, there is limited choice and very poor coffee. At night there is people walking near the houses (probably security) and they woke us up both nights

amazing location , superb view , peaceful and private. Spacious and nicely furnished rooms with high ceilings and loft . Well designed compound all over. Friendly and thoughtful hotel team.

Good place to visit Mystras

Very very helpful staff, really observant and friendly, they are making your stay as comfortable as possible!

Matress was really soft, a lot of cablework which was sticking out of the walls, 2 of 3 toilets in the restaurant were not properly closeable… I reckon there is a need of renovation, would not consider it a 4 Star hotel unfortunately.

Amazing hotel

I really wished our schedule would have allowed us to stay a little longer at this fabulous hotel. Amazing views, large comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Bit tricky to find, but definitely worth the effort!

Very comfortable accommodation! Traveling with 3 p the appartement was very convenient and modern. Great view over Sparta and the mountains. Great pool, good food ( super breakfast included) and top staff! We stayed three nights after initially booking one night. From here we discovered Mani, Sparta and Mithras: perfect hub and stay! Highly recommended.

Great location, magnificent view of mount Taygetos and Sparta, really pleasant, spaceus and clean rooms,. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous. Thanks for making our visit to Sparta so pleasant !
