Overall the placement of the hotel is great in the heart of the city and near some very nice pub like the Cottage Loaf. The staff were very friendly and the facility and restuarant were very good
The park is very minimal however there was on street parking on the promenade which was free from 16:00 to 10am however it was very busy.

Beautiful Victorian property in a prominent position, good location for everything.
Wouldn’t rate this 4 stars, carpets could do with a clean and the whole place is a little tired. Creaking floor boards that disturbed anyone in the room sleeping when you walked on them, basic room, a little old fashioned. Booked a room which was advertised as overlooking the Court yard, it was actually over a flat kitchen roof with industrial extraction fans on it, the window was obscured to hide this but made the room claustrophobic and could not open the window for the noise and smell of greasy food. These went off at 9pm and came on at 5.45am!

The Staff - cleanliness - view and location - food was good, and check in - check out was quite easy - would be back very quickly if the hotel was dog friendly
Not a lot to not like really, we have a dog and its not a dog friendly hotel - so it's probably the only reason that may prevent us from visiting more often
