Stay were nice and helpful. The location is great. The room and hotel have everything you need and are comfortable.
Only thing that was an inconvenience was that the sink in our room was leaking and our bathroom floor was wet and slippery

Great city location with a huge access of bars & restaurants right on your door step
Nothing, it was all great
4.5
Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and despite the noise at night it was a great location.
Loud music late into the night until at least 2 am. Cars with noisy mufflers racing up and down the street and lots of partying. If this is not your scene, don't stay here. Staff did their best to accommodate us and we were very grateful to Cecelia for moving us on a busy Easter weekend.

Great staff, very helpful and knowledgeable about the city with useful tips - e.g. using the Trolley Bus system. Location excellent for nearby facilities and entertainment - but not too noisy. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Hidden gem of the rooftop area which is lightly used.
Shame there isn't breakfast but I was pointed to a location only a couple of minutes away which served an excellent and good value 'walk-in' breakfast.

I did not like anything about it, aside from being rundown and creepy it smells and needs a gut renovation. I did not feel safe as well.
The hallways are run down and dirty, the elevators too, as well as the lobby, the whole hotel is run down and the beds are low grade and uncomfortable for $700 a night it’s an insult.

Very well located
Really poor cost/benefit.
I have stayed in much better hotels for a fraction of the price.
Very small bed, old and ugly bathroom, poor isolation with a lot of noise and light coming from the street bellow during the night

The hotel was awesome! The staff are ALL super friendly and welcoming, despite the number of times we went in and out. Perfect location for our conic con vacation. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and perfect! Would definitely stay again 🙂

Beautiful older building, roof top deck
club located on ground floor created a thumping sound in the room that made it difficult to sleep

The location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful, Vera the Excuetive housekeeper was very kind and helpful with questions about the area. Ms. Merry, front desk staff was great. She didn't know it but we were between needing to get breakfast and having to take our luggage with us or wait until an hour or so later to eat once at our other destination. She said there many places to eat, why don't you all go out, take in the scenery and get some breakfast. We can store your luggage and you van pick it up when you come back.. She didn't know it but that took a great load off of us and allowed us to enjoy a little down time peacefully. Thank you Ms Merry! Not only that, but she was so energetic and friendly!
Only thing i would mention is that the couch smelled a little moldy. I figured because it was a little antiquist and cloth fabric it had little odor.

It was a Surprise Proposal to my now Fiancée. The staff was nice and helpful. The lady at the front desk was wonderful. She helped me make sure the surprise proposal went perfect. She helped me get family up to the room while I was out for dinner with my girlfriend. The front desk lady’s name was Merry
There was some homeless people being rowdy across the street

location
intermittent hot water and low water pressure.

The staff was excellent. The lady at the front desk (Merry) was amazing and so full of energy. Being located at the fringe of the Gaslamp section made everything reachable and the noise was almost nonexistant. I would highly recommend the hotel without any hesitation.
This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but being in the Gaslamp area, there are plenty of places to eat at and it gives you a variety of foods to eat.

Staff and rooms were good.
There were too many homeless people in the area making noise and screaming all night, plus it doesn't make it feel safe when walking in the area day or night!

Not a great work environment.
