The location is the only thing I could think positively about the establishment.
Wow. what an experience! I wouldn't have picked it if I knew about the true condition of the establishment. Put it this way, the YHA in central Melbourne has far better conditions than it offers. I have used Booking. com for many years with confidence. This stay changed my view.

It is in a convenient placement. The staff were really helpful and friendly.
It is not that clean. It smells a lot like weed and cigarettes most of the time.

The hotel's location near Saint Catherine Street was handy. the price was affordable. It is close to downtwon and Metro stations.
The actual place didn't match the nice pictures online. The worst thing was the noise from the hallway that was really loud when people were walking and made it impossible for me to sleep. The hotel was not clean and there were many uncleannesses there. Also, they didn't give slippers in the room. If you need a fridge check before reservation if the room has it or not. The shared toilet wasn't clean and didn't have soap. Breakfast wasn't great either. With 10-20 dollars more I could have a room with private toilet and more privacy and comfort.

In general we had a really comfortable stay at this hotel. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast didn’t have a lots of varieties but you get what you paid for, but still we really enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is located in the centre so almost everything is within walk in distance. It was our first time travelling to Montreal but still we managed to visit almost all the tourist areas around downtown by walking. The only down side of the hotel I would is cleanliness. The room we stayed in was so stingy, and the whole bed, bedsheet, pillowcase including the closet itself was so smelly we couldn’t stand it anymore, so we asked the staff to either have the new bedsheets on or have us in different room. As a result, they moved us to different room which is little better than the previous one. As a whole, I would recommend this hotel to all the people who are looking for a centrally located and not too pricey hotel.
Cleanliness of the room and loud noises from outside

I had book for business with my partner and once on location we went in the lobby and decide not to sleep at this hotel as room are old and not very clean even the renovated units. We decided to assume the lost of our money as it was not refundable.

The accessibility
The bathroom had drug on the floor and was not clean enough, the bed aren't comfortable, the food for the breakfast is cheap. There is not a lot of reception service. This isn't an hotel it's hostel. It's good to stay for a cheap price but you pay for what you got.

The location was perfect for our needs. The price was excellent. The brick wall was beautiful. The bathroom was nice, but cold. It was secure.
The walls were dirty. The carpets in the hallways could be replaced.

not for Ukrainian people. I was charged twice by credit card and by cash. I am from Ukraine and some hotel provide free stay in their rooms. at least I pay but they charged me twice. when I show confirmation man on reception call me Russian. I corrected him and he say that Russian and Ukrainian are same!!! issue with payment was not fixed and no one helps me

Location was great for a concert. Its definitely a very low budget hotel. Id stay again one night for a concert, but no more than that.
Ice skating rink next door meant music was blasting just outside our window, starting at like 7 or 8am. Building is super old so noise travels. Doors, conversations, baby’s, squeaky floors all woke us up in the morning on top of the loud music outside.

Location
it smelled bad, was noisy, bad maintained, unclean and the guy of reception was really rude.

The location is perfect, near the Place des arts metro station and to city centre. The room was very good with a kitchen which allowed to cook meals in order to save up money. Aditionally, the room was big.
The breakfast is included and it was good but only toasts and not very good cereal. The coffee and orange juice were vgood also. However, the breakfast room was small which made that sometimes you needed to wait for people to end their meals.

Lhe location was great.
Our room was not close to the property photos found in the listing… more like a dorm room in need of TLC. The water heater next to the bathroom sink was interesting…
