Beautiful building.

Beautiful classic building with immaculately tended grounds and a lovely outdoor area for dining. The bathrooms are updated, and the king size bed was comfortable.
There was only one night stand on a king size bed, the bathroom was updated; however, there is evidence of mold, or mildew around the bottom of the glass shower enclosure. The building in general is suffering from deferred maintenance with window seals that need paint, a roof that needs attention, and a general musty odor as one enters the lobby.

close to downtown area and staff was friendly and had great customer service!
very dirty and very old. our first room had multiple bugs in it. after killing a few we complained to the front desk and they gave us a nee room. the rooms are very old and outdated. if you enough the historical places then this is for you. if you prefer clean and modern this is not the place for you.

it was like a manor and being out of season we had most of it to ourselves
was quiet and comfortable and the back garden was lovely to sit in

Location. The rest was sub par. First time I have ever done this. I am sorry to report this news.
Food: Continental breakfast was served on a counter near the bar/restaurant. Food, if not obvious such as apple or yogurt in a container, was not identified by a small sign, no indication of where coffee, tea or any other beverage could be obtained. Only a visit to the front desk supplied this information. Lighting was dim if not off, no indication of where you might sit to eat. No sign anywhere that a hot breakfast was available. Bathroom had broken tiles, moldy or tired looking grout, badly designed and water in the shower was not contained by a single shower door. Dark, not lit, closet. After checking in and walking to the room, noticed food, I believe it was cookies, on the floor of the hallways leading to our room. Nice touch... Housekeeping was not up to par.

The architecture was beautiful.
Wish you had the EXTRAS on the brochure-
You can have a refrigerator but you have to ask for one ahead of time. They ran out quickly! Also more ice buckets would be great. Should be enough for each room. It should also say the breakfast is only a continental at best.

Location.
Size of room. Fact that restaurant was closed.

We wish the dining room had been open when we were there. It looked charming.
Dining room was closed. No extra chair to sit on in room. Whole hotel needs some brightening up.. Dark.

I though the bed was comfy and the food was really good. The staff was very nice.
The shower pressure was great but would randomly get extremely hot then freezing.the walls are so thin that we got noise complaints for just speaking to each other.

Super charming town hotel. Walking distance to shopping. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms fully supplied. The hotel was more of an old style inn.
Loved it!

The continental breakfast was delicious! Better than anticipated.
The bathroom needed work. The tiles on the shower entry were broken and loose. Furniture blocked the window- have to move heavy furniture to close shade.

Very nice place with a calming atmosphere.
Wasn't crazy about the pillows
