It's across the street from the beach, not too far from restaurant's. It's a sleepy town so everything closes pretty early. We take our own pots on vacations so we save extra money that way and don't have to eat junk food the entire trip. The kitchen was actually well stocked with plates and utensils, also a nice size fridge for 4 of us.

That the lady care taker would constantly remind of us quiet time right at 9:59pm. A picnick bench was right out side our room and her suit right above that. A little bit annoying when we were just having quiet conversation but what ever.. if you are okay being trapped in your room after 10pm or have other plans it's fine.

Check in was easy, friendly staff. We have stayed at this motel twice in the last year. The price is very reasonable.

The shower in the bathroom is tiny, hardly wide enough to take a shower, and I'm a thin person. The shower head is right at ceiling height, and I could get it to spray on me because it's pointed towards the wall because the shower is too narrow and only a curtain across it, otherwise the water would spray outside the curtain. This would be a major renovation, but otherwise it's a very nice unit, and a great place to stay for a night.

perfect for going to the wine festival

very clean great tools in the kitchen loved the spaciousness of the room. easy to find loads of parking . not good for pets or parties so very quite and peaceful

Beds were very uncomfortable need bigger pillows and a better bed . did not like that you could not turn the fan in bathroom off sounded like a jey engine

I was disappointed.

Spacious room and no comfortable chair to sit in. Mattresses very noisy. Had stayed there several years ago and really liked it so booked it again. Way too much money for what we got.

overall a pleasant stay ,

good air conditioning ,over all a comfortable stay , mostly clean. nice size room central location, clean bed

the floor needed proper cleaning, an envelope asking for tips for the cleaning staff , not once did we see any cleaning staff it was OK, needed a mirror other than the bathroom mirror, with covid the was no cleaning supplies to help keep clean

great family oriented motel!

The room was very clean, had a full size fridge to keep p our drinks cold and AC. The pool was right outside our door. Free parking available!

Bed was on the hard side.

Exceptional

It had everything we needed, right down to a bath mat. The kitchen was well stocked, the room was large and clean, and we met many other friendly family guests. Staying anywhere seems expensive these days, but we were very happy we chose to stay here.

Amazing bed mattress!

The bed had this sponge mattress that felt so amazing that I looked forward to sleeping!

Not enough reclining chairs at the swimming pool.

It was lovely and too short!

The pool/pool area was great; excellent location to amenities and public beach was only steps away. It was clean and staff was friendly.

Was sure when we booked we booked for the children—adding two minors in the booking. With the booking review, kids were not included and were charged an additional $10/child per night. Fairly large expense on top of what we paid.

A great stay for a last minute booking and reasonable price.

The location was perfect to walk down to the beach. The pool on site was also refreshing.

No hot water for an evening shower. Bed was not very comfortable. Tv was small and poorly positioned in the room.

management. they put signs all over the room to keep it clean and even an envelope and note to remind guests to leave a tip. closed the pool at 7pm and we’re cold and rude when we asked - it will be open tomorrow - they responded. if you want to feel unwelcome this is the place for you.

Great place to stay for families who like to make their own meals and be close to the lake.

The kids liked the salt water pool which was kept clean. There were a lot of rules but all the signs were done tastefully, clear, and error-free! The room was spacious and I appreciated the partial kitchen and large fridge.

The AC was loud and intermittent. The beds were a bit too stiff. The smell of the water from the bathroom sink was odorous.

A bit spartan. Cold. My room was downstairs, so I could hear the people upstairs.

Good basic motel

Met our expectations. Close enough to walk downtown. Pool was heated to 80 so we could swim even though the air was cooler than that - thoughtful touch.

There was nothing we hadn’t expected.
