It was a cost effective option for us to stay in Vancouver as a family for a night.
You get what you pay for. It is a very basic hotel with carpet that needs replacing and a strong odour.

Location is amazing , the beds were comfy & it was at least clean.
The room smelled like takeout food, silverfish in tub, upon arrival, old carpets, bleached stained sofa chairs, dated furniture & blanket toppers, some walls freshly painted which was nice but then other walls not painted, single pane windows & no way to control heat in room. Wifi didn’t work on one of my devices. We didn’t end up needing the 3rd bed because one person was unable to come on trip but the property couldn’t downsize room & said it was because of Booking.com. If six people who don’t care about aesthetics or wifi were sharing the room, it would be ok because the location is incredible.

location and size of rooms

the location was excellent. Rooms were large and clean and view was excellent. The hotel is just across the street from the beach and a few minutes from the park. supermarkets, restaurants and stores are close by. The kitchen is well equipped and convenient.

The service is very good, especially the front desk! My order was placed several times. The front desk connects the rooms for these orders. I don't need to move around. Thank you so much!

The location is very good for accessing downtown, Stanley Park and many restaurants in the area. The busyness of the beach front was extremely noisy in the area; but closing the windows and putting on the fans we hardly noticed it to go to sleep.
The hotel is tired and outdated. Windows need cleaning; windows need to be fixed (be careful if little ones around the windows as they swing right open and kids could fall to the street). Rugs and floor in kitchen and bath are old and need replacing as well as draperies. We paid $270 or so per night which is high but expected in Vancouver. However I think for $2-$3k per room they could freshen it up and make us feel it is better value. There is likely no motivation to do this as the hotel seemed full.
A broken fan in our room caused an extreme incident. My sister picked up the operating fan to move it. A piece behind the handle was broken and allowed her finger to go right into the operating blade housing. The end of her finger was pretty badly injured. We showed the desk person and reported that the fan needs replacing. He merely asked if she needed a bandaid. Again had the been a child’s hand there could have been loss of a finger or hand. Serious stuff - could be a lawsuit.

decent location
paid parking and still inconvenient to park there. unclean space that smells of smoke and weed and overall not great amenities.

The kitchen in the room was great, even if simple. Parking lot was affordable compared with options nearby. Room was big for two people. Room came with lots of soaps and shampoos. Kitchen and dishes were clean, so were the beds and chairs. Location was amazing, amongst tons of cool places and restaurants and a lot to do until around 11 PM.
It was confusing how parking would work before we got there so we had one person stay in the alley with the car while the other checked in. This was a minor inconvenience. Coffee was also pretty icky. TV was meh.

Location was good. Staff are friendly
The hotel requires updating, carpets where old looking and bleach stains. The hotel had a strong bleach smell in the hallway and in the room

I really loved how the hotel room had a kitchenet! It made it easy to save money by going to a grocery store and getting some frozen meals.
It also had a perfect location! There was tons of restaurants, grocery stores, malls, and other useful buildings near us. It also have bus routes right outside!
There was afew staff members who didn't really speak to us. We try to wave, and say Goodmorning and they just kindof stared at us.
However our check in was wonderful! The gentlemen who checked us in was incredibly friendly and nice! Then our check out we had a very nice, friendly lady help us.

Great location and great price for a family of 6.
Old and run down. Like an old apartment block that hasn't been maintained.

Great location for shops and restaurants plus the beach.
