The facility was of poor quality. All room material was old and broken. It was not clean

The location was great but it didn’t appear to be a well-organized process and the room was disappointing.

Location, front desk staff was kind

Room wasn’t ready at check in time, suite was small and felt cluttered, found dirty bra in the pullout bed, indicating that linens weren’t changed, no pillows provided for pullout bed, asked for pillows and received one. Manager appeared to be insincere and bothered by our identifying these issues.

Proximity (location), atmosphere, laid back

No hot water first night, housekeeping should indicate approx time for room cleaning so we could adjust, we expected room cleaning on second day but it didn't happen. Thought i could add rewards after our stay, apparently that can't be done (Including the $5 credit for skipping room cleaning)

Was a last minute trip with my spouse and we had a great time. Fantastic location!

Excellent location! Rooms are nice, our room had a balcony, the bathroom was a good size. Restaurant and amenities were great. Staff were very friendly. Room was quiet, did not hear noise in the hallway from other guests.

The first night our AC wasn't working, we couldn't adjust it and were very hot. They fixed it immediately and the 2nd night it worked great. The bathroom sink was small and there really wasn't any place to put your items (makeup, brushes, etc).

Liked some of the amenities, but the noisy room and blood on sheets negated those

To noisy, blood on sheets and had to call twice for replacements and wait for new ones, who puts blood stained sheets on a new guest bed

Fun and beautiful place to stay to enjoy the Huntington Beach!

Definitely enjoyed our stay. Resort feel with fun extras… like a record player in room and s’mores by the fire pit. Free bike rentals to ride along the beach. Complimentary happy hour. Bed was firm but very comfortable. Room was quiet, clean, and nicely decorated. Bathtub was huge! Restaurant and breakfast was delicious!

Vinyl records were all pretty scratched. “Free Breakfast” was really just additional hotel fees on top of the room rate (although it was delicious!)

Gorgeous view accessible to most everything

Access to the beach, dog beach, restaurants, shops and more is superb. The staff is beyond friendly and quite helpful.

There is nowhere to potty your dog. There is nothing but concrete surrounding the hotel and you have to go quite far to find anything that looks like a strip of foliage or grass. Dogs are not allowed on the pier or beach near the pier either.

Room was clean! Record player didn't work! Couldn't call front desk phone didn't work! Manager needs it get with I.T. and fix the room identity. Ocean Veiw should be changed to Full Ocean Veiw! The other should be Partial Ocean Veiw! Let the customers decide if they want to stay if all you have left is a Partial Veiw! Transparency of what you are booking before you arrive at the property! This was very disappointing to me as a customer!

Excellent Hotel! I love how the hotel puts the visitors/customers in the center and how they create amazing possibilities to network with others. Surf vibes are lived and real!

Only a minor thing was that they cleared my room key before the checkout time. But the friendly staff has fixed it in no time. No big deal.

Shorebreak is a go-to for me and my partner!

Location, amenities such as free drinks and snacks, incredibly friendly staff, efficiency, extremely high standards of cleanliness, very good restaurant, excellent space management on a small property: roomy but without sprawl, 2nd floor lobby provides some security from ground-level intrusions but is still accessible and manageable, excellent views of beach, pier, and street life.
