Breakfast is amazing, staffs are friendly
Swimming pool had lots of people didn’t wear swimming suit

The breakfast was cold and served on paper plates!! For 15$ I could do better at Timmie’s! Had to switch rooms due to noisy neighbours and loud ineffective air conditioning

Balkon op de kamer, prachtige locatie aan meerkant. Elke avond kampvuur. Gratis tennisrackets, basketbal. Heerlijk zwembad
Was wel een beetje ouderwets en gehorig.

I loved the view, and the staff was very nice to give me a lake view room and the staff at the restaurant/bar and front desk are amazing people...very attentive and nice.
Breakfast food was good.
However, the hotel is run down, I walked around it and it was depressing to see how it needs a very big renovation, Basically everything falls apart from the outside. The pool was dirty (not the water) there was a dark GREASY LINE all around the rim and slippery when I touched the inner walls. That is dirt accumulated. There was also dirt in the corners of the hot tub...YUCK!.. there were spider webs with spiders hanging on the side of the pool from the ceiling onto the window...
The plastic green lawn everywhere is DIGUSTING...looks like a cheap Las Vegas motel. It should be removed and covered with proper grass/lawn.
Also, in the restaurant the plastic cups and paper cups for lousy tasting coffee are just cheap and please don't tell me that is environmentally conscious, because to produce plastic is way more expensive and also not good for the environment, than clay or porcelain. This is a hotel not a roadside motel. sorry I don't eat with plastic fork/knife and spoon! I asked the staff as I was absolutely shocked and they brought me proper cutlery and a proper cup for me coffee, because they understand good customer service, but these owners, don't have a clue or they don't care.

It was a lovely retreat on the edge of Algonquin provincial Park. It’s a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a comfortable bedroom. With amazing views and great pool and sauna. The place smelled great.
The bedrooms bathroom was in desperate need of an update and refresh of carpets through the communal areas.
3.5
Te location is really beautiful , not so far from city downtown and a good access to the provincial parks nearby. The staff were attentions and welcoming. The bedroom as I re as before need some updates, but was cleaned and beds are very comfy. They also left some coffee and teas to make.
One point I noted is that the water didn’t run properly to the toilet flush, so we had to refill it any time when using it. For the next guests I’d considered check the units. Another point is the vents in the bathroom doesn’t work and sometimes a sewer smell come out from there.

Very good location
Good amenities but short times to enjoy them

nothing
it says pet friendly when i book this hotel, but the receptionist of hotel named Mary told me dog is only allowed stay at first floor, but i booked lake view room, it is no way i can see the lake, plus the hotel staff told me DOG is not allowed for any other floors which may impact people, it is kind of racist. my trip was not that good because of that, please investigate and i want my money back. i also reserve all of my rights for further actions.

Nice resort and amenities were good too. Beach and other activities were good. Staff were friendly and polite.
However we personally didn't like the rooms that much we choose 2 queen bed room with balcony, it was kinda old and outdated plus the lights were very dim which gave the gloomy feeling and the bathrooms were quite small too. But over all a good place to stay with kids.

Great view from balcony, room was clean and beds comfy but rustic furniture tired and worn and hotel in need of updating. Great location and the days of glory of this once magnificent hotel are long past due date. A lick of paint and renovations would work wonders but it was only for one night so acceptable.
Not sure if I'd stay again as might try nearby reputable resort that I won't mention in this review. Staff are very friendly and a credit to the hotel.
Shabbiness of worn and chipped furniture spoilt an otherwise good sized room, very comfy nights sleep though.

Be mindful of the hidden fees. The resort fee was hiked to $30 a night. When we booked it was $20 a night.

The location is great, the restaurant was amazing, the food tasted good, the staff was very friendly
The inside pool was cold, the hand railings were broken and it appeared to of been that way for a little while and it felt like to us that the pool doesn't get cleaned as often as it should, just overall very dissatisfied with the inside pool experience. Kids were running up and down the hallways for well over a half hour around 11:30pm at night, staff never handled the noise disturbance. The hair dryer in the room was broken, the sinks Hot Cold handles were loose and the ac unit was very noisy, not normal noises.

Large room. Quick service at restaurant.
Staff at front desk were not very friendly in the morning. No exercise room and pool only opened at 9:00a.m

Location only.
Very shabby hotel. Peeling wallpaper. Half painted woodwork on stair railing. Net curtain in room 311 half falling down. Sauna not hot enough. Pool freezing cold. Tired looking facilities and hotel. Paid $240 and no breakfast? Thievery. Never anywhere to park. Pool and hot tub/sauna close too early. Hot tub and sauna should be bigger to accommodate number of guests. Always full. When was the last time sauna was cleaned? I'm guessing never. I will never return. Daylight robbery. Great ski hill. Terrible hotel.

The view is magnificent. The waitress in the restaurant had a great sense of humor .
They had a pool and other things that we did get time to explore. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place again

close to skiing, nice view, beds where comfortable.
booking.com is miss leading with charges as it seems the deposit was included on the price but not clear.. ultimately we have been over charged and I have requested a rebate but no reply from booking.com yet!
2.5
Excellent location, clean hotel, nice wooden furniture, comfortable beds.
Needs more attention to details of customer experience: the bathtub drain was very sluggish, most of the electrical sockets were so loose that plugs fell out of them and front desk staff were inconsistent - some were very friendly, others seemed bored.
