The staff was friendly and ready to help. We were greeted warmly and felt very welcome. We enjoyed the restaurant as well.
The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the hotel is in need of general maintenance (painting & upgrading), and more attention should be given to cleaning the public & shared spaces (breakfast area, sitting area, hallways and outside seating).

Location was great for our purpose.Very friendly staff.
Breakfast might have included fruit, juice and yogurt in addition to toast/pastries.

El lugar está bien ubicado, las habitaciones limpias pero no nos dieron nuestro desayuno que estaba incluido.

Location is good, that’s a good part
There was fungus on the breakfast bread.
Upon speaking to the owner, he didn’t even bother to apologise and took it as just another day at office.
Place is horribly understaffed, so don’t expect to be pampered.
3.0
Room was clean and comfortable.
There was supposed to be breakfast included and no one ever showed up to open for it. I was on my way to work nearby and unable to find anything open, so was very disappointed that I did not get the breakfast that I had paid for.
Also, it was SO loud in the hotel. They had live music in the bar and I could still hear it in my room, while wearing earplugs.
Staff was not very helpful.
2.0
Staff was friendly and place looked clean
Internet wasn’t working 95% of the time
Cable TV wasn’t working either
Heating was on and couldn’t turn it off, air conditioning was extremely loud
Overall it is too expensive for the quality, specially when important things don’t work

Chris was beyond accommodating....it was a work trip, 3 staff, 7 adult clients with disabilities - Chris went above & beyond to ensure our one night stay was comfortable and fun!
I wish we knew the rooms were on the 2nd floor. If we would have come with less able-bodied clients, we would have had to go elsewhere. Make sure to clarify when booking

The rooms were nice, bed very comfortable. Bathroom clean.
The bathroom in the two bedroom suit should have more towels, it was set for two guests. Had to share my towel.
The breakfast that is included is pretty poor. We had to search for milk, did not find any, so cereals were dry. We did find half and half cream behind the bar (that was not part of the breakfast area). I think they could do better or not provide breakfast.

The staff were really nice
The pictures online are staged to look much better than the place actually was. The fire pit was in the parking lot and the seating area was full of cigarette butts and dirty ashtrays.
2.0
close to the water
you could feel the springs in the bed
the outside balcony was rotting and had not been cleaned for some time
I ordered food for take out and only received part of the order
no air conditioning

We went for the Ironman, and this location was close to the event. Comfy bed and clean.
Price and amenities don’t have correlation. Extremely expensive for one day and for what you get.

It was close to the beach. Had there been no fire ban you could’ve had a little fire outside. Staff was friendly
No AC on the property. I am unsure if that was listed on the ad or not but if its not it should be. Also. When we arrived shortly after 3 i struggled to find anyone to check me in. We had a small issue with our room and were offered a suite room upstairs which was nice. Staff was also friendly. Continental Breakfast was standard- we just had coffee and as we were traveling back home opted to stop in Orillia for a sit down breakfast place

Breakfast, outdoor sitting space, room set-up, restaurant was closed. Not their fault but loud fireworks at 2am, someone starting their motorcycle and playing music early am made for a terrible sleep.

The gentleman owner was so welcoming. He was very busy and away from the desk, which I didn't mind at all because he said he was just a phone call away if I had any questions or problems. The king bed and sheets were amazingly comfortable. And the bar fridge was great for putting my snack in from my travels.
Because I cleaned for a living, I did notice a few things that could have been cleaned a bit better. Toothpaste splashing on the wall in front of the bathroom sink, the light sconce was very dusty, and the patio door was very dirty. These are not complaints by any means, just, I hope, helpful observations.

Room was nice and clean.
Outside of property could use a good cleanup.

It was good, the owners went an extra mile and prepare Indian chai for me.

The breakfast was great and the beds were comfy. Rooms were very clean and plenty of parking.
In room wifi was slow but we were there for a weekend away so we didn’t care.

We will Definitely be back!
This was a random trip for my husband and I. We woke up, packed up and started driving not knowing where we were going. We came across this lovely gem in the woods! It was down a beautiful snowy road. Our first impression of the owner AJ, was so pleasant and inviting!
Our room was so cozy, we much rather cute and quaint over than the average hotel.
Plus it’s pet friendly!!
This place checked all our boxes! Can’t wait to visit again and again! For our little getaways! ❤️

I was looking for something with a cottage country feel. I initially tried to book at Deerhurst, however they required a minimum of a three night stay. this place did not disappoint. our room was very clean and super cute. We had the Pine Suite and it included two fireplaces, cottage decor and a little seating area with a television. it was perfect.
We got up the next morning for breakfast, however we decided to hold off and go out for breakfast. They had grab and go items out, however we wanted something with a little more substance.

we enjoyed to cozy feeling of the common area and the rooms with big windows. mini fridges to keep our snacks and drinks cold was a plus. great value for a weekend getaway with both kids and just adults.
the dining area is still not fully functional so not able to sit at the bar, or be able to have a meal. need to still go out to either do take out or sit in dining. fans in the bathrooms are very loud. be great to have the light and fan on different switches.

Super friendly staff, and an amazing location! Roughly a 20 minute drive to Huntsville which is full of restaurants and shops. The lodge was very cozy and extremely clean!

beautiful lodge, great decor and inviting facilities, very friendly new owner who treated us like royalty. The nice little continental breakfast offered suited us perfectly , we wouldn’t have expected anything!
AJ was a very attentive host, and also respectful of our privacy, I was happy the front door is manned or locked with key entry for safety as I was travelling alone with my toddler. very nice updates to bathrooms and rooms!
there were a few stairs which were fine for us but might deter a few people . I’m not sure if there are ground level rooms.
