Didn't eat there as we left early. The owner gave us a sandwich and a banana to go. No view from room unless you went outside to the garden
Beds were rock hard, pillow was paper thin, room was terribly hot no A/C only 1 window was open a Crack at the top and the blind was closed covering the opening when we arrived. I opened the blind but that let the sunlight come into the room in the morning. Could not sleep it was so hot. At 6:15 am the next morning the owner, who slept upstairs with myself and 1 other quest room, had her clock radio go off. The music was static and it stayed on until 6:30 am. It woke me up.

Felt very comfortable and welcoming
I feel having the host come in while we were out for dinner was awkward for us.. leaving chocolates on the pillow was sweet but maybe before hand. Not during our stay…

the location was wonderful - nice neighborhood to walk around, short walk to the water, and views of the water from the breakfast area and certain rooms.
The gardens were wonderful to relax in after a day of travelling
The host was so kind, and spent time chatting with us.
I wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

Darlene is a character who is really passionate about the service she provides and is very good at making you welcome. The breakfast and her company were a real bonus
However, be prepared to be part of her house with limited facilities in terms of kitchen space.

Hostess was very friendly and the location had a large garden. Tea, coffee and snack bars were available and the beds were comfortable.
Not vegan friendly and accommodation was quite cold.

Big windows in the living/dining area to enjoy the magnificent view of the bay. I rented the king room with easy access to the incredible garden.
That my stay was so short.

The view from the breakfast table is so entertaining as a variety of birds come to feed from the feeders on the deck.

Darlene was an excellent host. The room was actually a little suite with fridge, microwave and toaster oven and all the other small appliances. It had a small sitting room and a king size bed in the bedroom that was super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.
Nothing at all.
