There was hiding fees that wasn’t presented through booking.com that was very frustrating.

Really enjoyed the location and bed was very comfortable. Facility was beautiful as well.
entrance gates were not working but the staff worked around it for everyone while it got addressed.

Location
Pool was dirty, lawn service guys were out Monday morning and not considerate. My bill was a lot more than what i signed for and I have called 3 times for a written invoice with no response. I was only there 2 nights so it shouldn’t have been $300 more.

The location of the property is ideal for visiting Sullivan’s Island, Shem Creek, etc. The pool facilities and front desk staff were nice.
The room we were given did not seem like a “Superior” room we paid for. The room and bathroom are in desperate need of an update. They are showing their age with chipped paint, peeling ceiling, ratted headboards, and small space.

It's a beautiful location with great extras. The staff was fantastic, especially housekeeping. It has beautiful pools , fire pits and outdoor spaces. A shuttle is offered to Charlestown and back and has a water taxi ( not free but reasonable) that crosses the bay. It has a great tourist attraction within walking distance , the Yorktown. We had housekeeping daily, which is not a given anymore. It was pet friendly although we did not have a pet. Musical events and weddings also happen at the resort plus other activities. The dining in the area is great with many choices..
Parking was tight, especially the nights with events. The card system with the gate getting in and out of the parking lot was terrible just because it was not explained well. Kindness of other guest showing us how to use room key to also get in and out of parking saved us, and we did the same for other guest in that same confusing spot. The prices were outrageous, but the resort is so beautiful. The resort fees and taxes are high too. This was out third and probably last time here because we are elderly and can't afford it.

Location quiet but some distance from town.
Stay was disrupted by ongoing construction works. Lack of atmosphere and soulless lobby. No kettle in room. Poir meal options we went offsite.

Clean,comfortable, great view,
Needs a better choice for food, especially breakfast . Had to leave property to get better food.

Loved the view and location. Right next door to patriots point. Great restaurants in the area.
Phone service was spotty. The hotel let's general parking die to location of beach. Some times hard to get a parking spot.

Great location, staff was great, restaurants were very good
Room was very dated, expected more. Shower was not good( no water pressure and took forever to get hot). Restaurants and bars closed too early, no food options after 9pm.

The pool we used was good, clean, and very usable next to the preposterously named ‘beach’. Bed fine, room spacious, coffee machine good but no milk just an empty ‘fridge. No welcome pack, nothing more than good quality absolute basics.
Expensive facilities fee (parking etc) which otherwise offered little out of season (September) when the whole place felt very dead. The focus on taking excessive funds off you continues throughout with overpriced awful food and expensive drinks with massive taxes piled on top. Given their prices we were very disappointed by our stay. We’ve felt much more highly valued in much cheaper hotels.

I liked the cleanliness of the establishment. The room was awesome had a great view from the 4th floor. Enjoyed the opportunity to swim in the cool pool as well as the heated pool. The hot tub was nice and the fire pits were were very much appreciated in the dark.
Really can't think of anything that I didn't like. It would be nice to have a restaurant that is open a little later on the property.

The place is beautiful, location was good. Our room facing the water and pool was great view
If we didn’t have a wedding to entertain us the first night there would have been zero entertainment. The music was great and fun to watch. The other nights were pretty boring. Even fire pits were only lit for the wedding. Someone got sick off the elevator on 3rd floor and someone placed a towel over it and it took a few hours before it was cleaned up. Once it was cleaned off the floor /carpet they left it on the furniture against the wall! The entire stay! Restaurant was a bar with few seats and mediocre. For a high class place, and the price there could have been more entertainment. It was inclusive prices without the inclusive. We went to Charleston once and was harassed by beggars and stepping over the homeless . We chose to stay at the hotel but got bored very quick.

Location and facilities
Very small room. Noisey a/c. Sliding doors don't open.
