The hotel and room were beautiful and clean. The sheets were crisp and clean making for a restful sleep.
The breakfast look delicious but it was seasonless. I only ate it because I included it in my cost for hotel stay. Otherwise the hotel and room was beautiful and clean.

Breakfast was included in our stay for 3 days but the hotel did not honor it saying that breakfast was not included but it turned out that the staff was unfamiliar with the code for breakfast, so me and my son was only able to eat breakfast 1 day out of our 3 day stay.
The restaurant staff was unknowledgeable, rude, and unwilling to assist with the breakfast issue and the restaurant manager that refused us breakfast never apologized to me and my son.

Location is fantastic. Within walking distance of swimming pool.
This hotel has been under construction the two times I have been there. This time they wouldn’t let us bring in catering for the team. when you have several swim teams, dance teams and other events going on, you need to be able to provide for them all. We talked to several people and management about us doing a banquet for the team after the last night of swim championships. couldn’t accommodate us because they only have one restaurant and one cook, not enough staff. We even told them we would take takeout, still couldn’t do it. Ended up renting a room somewhere else. They don’t have enough staff to accommodate large groups they shouldn’t be renting rooms. Also they should allow the groups to have their meals catered in if the hotel can’t provide them food. Hotel also doesn’t have laundry services. I don’t recommend for large groups.

It was conveniently located, close to the Houston University pool. Most things where within walking distance.
No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. No complimentary breakfast. Overpriced for what you receive.

Great location if visiting University of Houston. Staff is very helpful and rooms are clean and spatious.
Rooms are a bit outdated and better accomodation can be found for that sum of money.

location and cleanliness
they have some construction and the only entrance to parking lot was bad, was afraid every time I needed to go in, ceiling to low, elevator parking to lobby didn’t work
so I had to use parking to events, then walk to lobby from building to another one fairly close but inconvenient then lobby to rooms
very inconvenient with a toddler and luggage to carry
might be temporary but I’ll have been helpful to know before arriving

The hotel is right on the University of Houston campus which was convenient. Disgusting, but convenient.
When we first arrived it was late (after midnight) and even though there was an odor in the hallway when we went to our room I decided to ignore it and get some sleep. But, over the course of the next day the smell of raw sewage in the hall became so strong that we needed to put a towel under the door to keep the smell out. I asked for a new room but the hotel was fully booked (they said that's why the smell was so bad - it's an old hotel under construction and it couldn't take the people). They offered us a voucher for breakfast and then the next day when the smell was worse they gave us a few dollars off of the room. They said that was the best they could do. In the end the room came to over $1,000 for five nights and the smell was so bad that at times I could literally taste it. I tried to contact Corporate but nobody got back to me. The people at the hotel were nice and I think they did the best they could but honestly, in all of my years of traveling (and this includes camping with porta-potties) I have never experienced anything quite this disgusting.

I like the location of the hotel. It was close to downtown but far enough away to not have to deal with heavy traffic. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The digital key is super handy!
We could hear everything happening in the hallways. There did not seem to be any sound insulation. There seemed to be a constant flow of people every night (1am-3am). We could also hear the toilets flush in other rooms. The shower just never quite warmed up. And there was loud construction noises that started at 7am on a Friday morning. It woke us up. And there was no fridge.
