Location and view
The elevator did mot always work
1.5
The location was great, right at the base of the hill. The staff were very friendly in addressing our problems with the room.
The bathroom and living spaces were small but comfortable. Ski lockers right at the exit of the elevator, 50 feet from the hill. The main day lodge restaurant and apres bar also right off the elevator. Great apres music by Oliver McQuaid. Amazing artist. Super convenient.
The kitchen was very poorly equipped. This unit comes with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. For cooking ,there was one pot and the bottom pan of an egg poacher. There was no frying pan or even a cookie sheet. We called to see if we could get a cookie sheet to cook our salmon. We got a disposable aluminum cookie sheet with the top half of a roasting try that was greasy and had to be washed first. When we grabbed plates to serve dinner we found food stuck to half of them and had to wash them as well. There were no chopping or pairing knives. There were 2 dishwasher pucks for three nights which didn't matter because there were only 4 cups 4plates 4 knives, spoons and forks. Not enough for a load anyway. Two rolls of toilet paper, 1/2 roll of paper towels. We were also informed there would be no room service during our stay. Bottom line for the money $ 380.00/night, this was the most poorly equipped suite we have ever stayed at. Every time we called to for items the staff were very friendly but it was exhausting calling them as it seemed every time we went to get something it wasn't there. Kimberley mountain is a great place it just sucked this room was so brutally equipped. In the end they gave us a 10% discount for our troubles.

The properties were obviously well specified when new, but are now a little "tired" with plumbing a bit unreliable, the internet a bit flaky and the furniture showing signs of wear, but still serviceable. For me travelling with two children (aged 9 & 11) who were only interested in very basic catering and getting out on the ski hill it was absolutely perfect.
All of the staff we encountered were 110% keen to help in whatever way they could!
The catering equipment provided was very limited - possibly a Canadian thing? - if I came again I would probably bring more stuff for the kitchen & fewer items of clothing (I hadn't realised how good the laundry facility would be!).
The toilet was temperamental & regularly carried on filling - not surprised you had floods. The Wi-Fi didn't work until router rebooted to default settings.
Very minor issues that certainly wouldn't put me off coming again.

Stunning views of mountain. Very clean, comfortable and well supplied suite.
Being in the off season, we were alone in the lodge. A bit musty as a result of having been closed after the winter season?

Location was lovely and peaceful. However, because of the time we were there (Tues and Wed), the restaurant in the lodge was not open. We recognize that this is likely as a result of the pandemic and the low numbers of travellers at the time.

Condo had everything we needed.
We were expecting a mountain view as advertised but had a view of the garbage bins and parking lot. Make sure to ask for a room facing the hill.

The room was a really nice size. The balcony, jacuzzi and fire were really nice touches to a romantic mountain stay!
