Liked the neighborhood. Bed was comfortable. Staff were great
Small balcony. Kitchenware wasn't very good at all. Constant buzzing from something outside, extremely loud. The air conditioning was extremely loud as well. No restaurant. Pool looked great until we got closer ..not really well maintained. Could be worth the money for staying there in winter for skiing season, but definitely not for summer.

The room was so comfortable. I loved the bed and pillows, it was quiet and dark, the room was soaps, and the kitchen was very handy. I enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fitness room. The seating area in the lobby is so beautiful, I wish I had more time here to enjoy it all.
It was a bit hot, especially in the fitness room.

The hot tub, but wish there was more than one available. And wish the hours were later.
No deck on our room

This is a ski lodge that is probably super busy in the winter but quiet for the summer. My husband and I had been driving for four days. We booked this hotel and the minute we walked in the hotel and room we booked an extra night. So glad we did! Great view from the room on the balcony, clean one bedroom condo. Loved it and would definitely go back. Downtown pizza place was delicious

The place was a ghost town. Was it because everyone knows they lie about having a hot tub, because they’ve all been screwed once and won’t come back? Or maybe because their restaurant they claim to have on booking.com is closed all summer? Or maybe it’s their high prices and rude front desk clerk, unwilling to extend the pool hours from 9pm to a reasonable time? For whatever reason, I quite enjoyed being only one of 4 guests at this hotel.
Restaurant was seasonally closed. It was listed on booking.com, and I was depending on it. The hot tub was also listed, and even after multiple discussions with front desk, including it’s location and when it closes, nobody told me the hot tub was out of order. I even left my job site early, just to make it to the hot tub before their unreasonably early closing time of 9pm, all for nothing. I showed up in my swimming shorts, outside, only to see yellow police tape blocking entrance to an empty hot tub. Then the moron at the front desk argued with me and called the heated pool a hot tub.. I want a partial refund, as I only do this mountain work trip once per year for two days and they screwed me. I carefully selected this hotel for the outdoor hot tub experience and the famous restaurant, and got neither. All I got was a lumpy springy pull out couch, for full price. Now I need to wait until next year for my outdoor hot tub experience in the mountains. They tricked me into paying a high price for F all. I won’t even bother calling next year. This option won’t be on my list anymore.

Location was beautiful, close to mountain biking trails, reasonable price.
Could have had more food options for breakfast.

The room was comfortable and the pool was great. The staff were super friendly !
The kitchen basics were there however it could have used a few extra things- like regular sized wine glasses, the bathroom fan was quite loud , would have liked a separate switch, just trivial things , nothing major.

Bed was comfortable.
Full kitchen was good to have.
Plenty of parking.
Very clean.
All the appliances were noisy.
Bathroom fan terribly noisy. Toilet ran at times.
Fridge and air conditioner noisy.
Very poor lighting.
Considering how unoccupied the hotel was and how far in advance we booked, the view we had from our room was very poor.
Also the lady checking us in couldn't make us feel less welcome.

close to the hill, affordable
Our room didn’t have working wifi, and when I called the front desk to ask about it, the lady working the desk said “the wifi is working, it must be your room, bye” and hung up on me… she was very rude. If you advertise you have free wifi in rooms, you should be providing that service and apologetic if it’s not working.

The king size bed. The easy access to the hill. The friendly staff. The underground parking. The water cooler was a nice touch. The outdoor pool and hot tub is bonus.
We were there four nights and we were given one t towel and dishcloth...please easy fix this. Also a small blender would be appreciated. The toilet nearly backed up...a plunger would save you a lot of money. The elevator needs upgrading and you need more suitcase carts.

6.0 / 10.0
The location was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The access to the hill was perfect, especially if you have young children since the ski school is literally just outside the back door of the resort. The t-bar lift is also just outside the resort so it's a great location for families.
The room was very basic. It is most definitely an older resort that could use room updating. We've stayed in condo facilities at the Ski Hill before, and we'd not realized how much older this resort is compared to some of the others we've stayed at. There was nothing wrong with the room, it just was dated. We also had a problem with the fireplace. It wasn't working the first night of our stay, but when we phoned, they didn't have any maintenance personnel who could look at it until the next day. Also, one of the hot tubs was not functioning which meant the pool area was very crowded in the evenings. The facilities were clean, just not adequate with the one hot tub out of commission. One of the reasons you stay in a place like this is so you can be outside in the pools at night, so this was a definite negative to our stay. We still went down to the pool, but the first night we only lasted 15 minutes and headed back to the room. My kids are 12 and 17 so they aren't as inclined to just splash around in the pool, especially with so many younger kids swimming. The second night was a Sunday and there were far fewer people, so we went down and they had a great time. Also, and this is just a small thing, but when I arrived it was 3:45. We'd just driven 5 hours to get there, and were told our room wasn't ready yet. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. so that seemed a little silly to me. By the time we finished the paperwork, magically the keys were on the desk, so we actually got them at 3:55. That just seemed like a silly thing to me. It must be policy to tell you that you can't have an early check-in. Also, because we were checking in on a Saturday and not a Sunday, we were told there were no lockers for our skis, so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to store them in the locker room. That was definitely inconvenient. I went down the next day and was able to get a locker since many people had checked out.

Location was perfect for skiing. The size of the room was great.
The door to my room didn't close properly, maintenance came to look at it and said it was fine but the latch stuck in when the door opened so the only way the door would stay closed is if you pulled the latch out with your fingers before you closed the door.
No cleaning service, for more than $300 per night the room should be cleaned daily. At the very least fresh towels and garbage taken out.

The staff were absolutely amazing! The beds were very comfortable! Loved having a full kitchen with the necessities at hand.
It was too bad the one hot tub was not open because we had a large family occasion happening. Also, all of the sofa beds in each of our rooms were in dire need of new mattresses!

Pool and hot tubs are old but working.
I feel the hotel was off season and hardly anyone there. We were tucked into a corner over-looking pool and hot tubs. Preference would have been a view of the mountains. We drove from Victoria and had no kids. So two things that would have made the 3 day stay nicer. Otherwise it was ok. No elevator the first two days which was ok as we were only on the 2nd floor at the top of the stairs. My husband had his hand operated on 2 days before so I had a bit of luggage to bring up. No room cleaning cause of Covid still?

Location was great.
The elevator was not working and we were on the 4th floor. I would have expected a discounted rate.
