Frustrating!

There was no available parking. Finally someone left and I took the parking space. I got my backpack and bag and walked to the office. It was dark and had a sign on the door that read, check-in was at a different motel a block or so north. It was dark, not well lit for walking and uneven sidewalks. I am 77 years old and a little wobbly walking. I did not want to give up my parking space. I just wanted to get to my room and use the restroom. I called the number on the note on the door. The receptionist was not helpful. The hotel should have made it clear that check-in was not actually at the hotel when I made the reservation! This was very upsetting!

Great location!!!

The location in PB was incredible and it was as to be expected for the price.

Climate control: The windows did not work great, neither did the fan or AC. Didn’t keep us from enjoying the fresh sea air.

Nice get away spot for anyone looking to stay on the beach.

Super close to the beach, 30 minute walk from Belmont park, beautiful view, and was a clean nice room.

Superb

The location was great by the beach.

There are only a few parking spots. I was unable to park near the hotel. I see the other two locations are the same. I would recommend getting more designated spot for the hotel.

Great location but not worth the price.

The staff at the check in hotel was amazing and so friendly. The location of the motel is right next to the beach.

There is no front desk so you have to walk to another motel first to check in and then walk back. People on drugs sleeping outside the motel right by our window. The drain in the shower smelled bad. There was tape around the shower head keeping it in place. The main door going into the room was rotting at the bottom and there was a huge hole in the wall in the bathroom.

Great for the price, great location, checking in at a different location did not bother us

Great location, friendly staff, pretty rooms, great bathrooms, kitchenette were nice

TV cable box did not work (or maybe there just wasn't any cable?), window in bathroom did not stay open, PB Surf check in office not mentioned at all in confirmation email (through booking.com), but there was a sign once you get to Diamond Head Inn.

Location, Location, Location!!

Execellent Location. Easy access to beach and all Pacific/Mission Beach has to offer. Our unit was small but comfortable. Staff reponsive to requests. For the price worth the stay. Reserved parking was a big plus!!

Location and interior space

Found many small cockroaches. Insufficient and unclean kitchen supplies. The cleaning service is very bad. Very dirty sofa.

The location , the beach access was perfect.

There is no office when you arrive at this property. Had to ask the cleaning staff where it was. Turns out it's at a different Hotel property a block and a half away. No signage indicating this is the case. Bizarre. Parking is tight and you may have to park at a different hotel property. Not great at night. Lots of homeless people right near the hotel. If this bothers you , you may want to try elsewhere.

Near beach

Very dirty, couch and rug was very dirty, bathroom door was hitting the toilet when closing. shower drain was plugged,No office and parking at the property had to check in and park at their other location,I was tired after driving seven hours that was hassle.i booked the room with balcony facing the beach but they told me they don’t book rooms facing beach on Booking.com I was very disappointed to hear that .

Very good

The staff, location were awesome! The shower door had a gap so water leaked out and wet floor. No bath mat so had to use 1 out of 2 towels in bathroom.

You can't check in on site, have to go to another location and parking is horrible.

Fantastic value, excellent location and great room. Can't beat it!

Excellent location, right on the beach and close to all the action. Easy to walk around, no need to rent a car. Close to SeaWorld, mall and everything else you'll want to do. The hotel was nice and we felt the value was excellent. Room was clean and tidy, bed was comfy and our needs were met. For an oceanfront hotel you can't beat the price.

Would be nice if this was a full service hotel - valet, room service, restaurant on site - but for the price you cannot beat it. Just know this is a motel/hotel that's really just a place to sleep and get ready for your day.

Location was fantastic right above the stairs down to the beach. Good walking distance to a lot of bars and food.

Bed was super hard pillows were crappy. The office wasn't open. Parking was terrible.

Disappointing

Kitchen, and location.

False advertising, pool was 2 blocks away at another property. I walked from the "lobby" which is a block away at another property. My key didn't work, do I had to walk back to get new keys. No parking lot, no pool, no lobby stay away from this place, it is a phony.

Location Location Location. Beach right outside the door. Staff was nice and courteous. Checking and out was easy and convenient

Toilet was broken called they never came to fix it. Didnt come to clean. Big Trash can right outside room overflowing, smelly etc. Carpets extremely dirty.

DISGUSTING

MOLD in bathroom and throughout. looked like a blood stain in the carpet. absolute WORST staff ever had to deal with. office/ check-in isn't even onsite. gave the WRONG room and NO help to remedy the situation - there was also another customer who said they were also given the WRONG room and no one helped to fix the mess up?? what is going on here!? absolutely disgusting and despicable experience! be sure to read all of the reviews stating their vehicles were broken into as well, on yelp!

strange check in

the location was awesome. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

we had to check in at a different hotel. That was weird. It was like two blocks away. The air conditioner was extremely noisy. Tried to call the front desk and it only went to voicemail.
