Location
Very hot inside pool was gross and smelt like pee

Room we had was huge. Clean and comfortable. The price was excellent.
Location seemed a bit sketchy but good for restaurants around. Even though the breakfast went until 9 most of the food was gone by 7:45

Dirty room, dirt sheets with stains, broken dresser. Hallway smelt like weed. Pool had a sign saying it was closed - but the staff didn’t know why.

No cable connection, toilet leaking at tank so it would fill every 10 minutes, cold water tap in shower loose.

The breakfast was good- eggs bacon and ham were hot & fresh. One morning there was little to eat because a delivery truck had not shown up. There could be some additional gluten free options added.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The pool facilities were nice.
In general, the room needed maintenance. The air conditioner was ineffective and the room was uncomfortably warm. The plumbing fixtures were old and the kitchen faucet leaked during usage. Because the room was an interior room, it was dark and the lighting was OK for watching TV but made it a challenge for my wife to apply makeup. There wasn't a bathroom exhaust fan, so we had to keep the shower window open and it backed onto a ground floor parking area.

Location on the Trans Canada is perfect. The room has a fridge and microwave..
The bathroom was very tight. The shower taps are old and were difficult to set for the shower. Not all the lights work or work properly.

The beds were clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was ok.
The shower didn't work. Ended up having baths. The toilet tank had to be filled by bucket for it to flush. There was a jacuzzi in the middle of the room. The tv was on the far side of the room.

Nothing the worst hotel I ever stayed in
Everything
3.0 / 5.0
the room connected with the pool - the room felt like a safe place for a single person as it was not located outside the facility
breakfast was poor - no fresh fruit or yogurt and only chocolate flavored muffins for children - cereal looked stale/bread slices were not enticing - no sugar free syrup for the pancakes

It was a close to the hospital.
The staff weren’t very knowledgeable, the rooms were dated, there was black hair all over the bathroom and windowsill, the curtains were very thin so the room was bright first thing in the morning.
Another family was in there at 3:30 and tried canceling a room they didn’t need, and the staff member told them they missed the cancelation time of 4:00 so they’d be charged for the full room even though they still had 30 minutes to cancel for free.
Also, they locked the front doors at check out and no one was at the front counter, so you couldn’t even get in to the lobby to check out. They had a sign up that asked you to ring the doorbell, however, they didn’t answer the phone or doorbell to let customers in. Once I finally got inside, the lady locked the doors and walked away leaving me locked inside the lobby. I had to go track her down to let me out of the lobby since apparently she couldn’t be bothered to stay at the front counter.
