The home was superb and the hosts just simply amazing. Nothing was too much effort and they went out of their way to make us comfortable.
Absolutely nothing. We loved every moment.

A beautiful but comfortable home.

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Perrier. Location was convenient in the beautiful garden district. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast including quiches made by Andrea was lovely. The proprietors, Tom and Patricia are hospitable and professional. We would definitely stay again.

What was not to like? The hosts, Tom and Patricia, we're extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The room was beautiful, and spacious, with a wonderful porch (our room was on the first floor). And the breakfast was delicious and filling, with homemade baked goods and mini quiches, as well as yogurt, granola, hardboiled egg, coffee, orange juice and other items to choose from. The location was great, right in the heart of the Garden District and only a few blocks from the St. Charles trolley that you could easily take to the city center and the French Quarter (about a 30-40 minute ride),
Can't really think of anything.

Beautiful historic home stay in the Garden District. Short walk to the trolley stop, and other cool little spots. Tom the host was super helpful, full of great suggestions, and with such warm hospitality towards us. The house was beautiful, the breakfast yummy. We had the Lillian suite and we LOVED the spacious bathroom and spa hot tub, the spacious bedroom with separate sitting area, the chairs, the everything.
I would book again next time in New Orleans!

The bed and breakfast was absolutely lovely! The house was beautiful and very well kept. The owners were so kind and accommodating. They really went above and beyond with every aspect of our stay here. Thank you so much!
Nothing! Everything was absolutely lovely.
4.8
The quiet location and ease of access to public transport for the city. Good sized rooms with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was included with a variety of gluten free options. Hosts were friendly and helpful.
Dark furnishings. Dated air conditioning was noisy and difficult to control. Having to pre-advise breakfast requirements (24 hrs) with no options for cooked breakfast.

Loved the owners. Took their time with check in information and tour even though we arrived at 9 pm ish. Absolutely beautiful 19th century home. We stayed in the Lillian room. Bed was amazing and plenty of breakfast items to choose from. There was always homemade treats in the family room to have with your choice of milk. Cow, Almond or Oat. Great AC and boy did we need it!! Summer in NoLo can be brutal! Definitely will stay there again.

Super nice location! Great hospitality, great breakfast, cosy rooms! Best place to stay in New Orleans!

beautiful and very clean

The hosts were as excellent as the location. easy walk to the street cart and Magazine St. Great cookies for snacks and water bottles always accessible.
The AC in the room was right above the head of the bed which made it a little uncomfortable. However, our room did have its own AC controller which helped. also the breakfast was not what I was expecting for a B&B; however, it was still great food and the host were always very accommodating.

Tom and Pamela were wonderful hosts. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The personal service really added to our stay.
The room layout could have been a bit better in terms of space to access luggage.

Wonderful property in a lovely part of New Orleans. Very close to Magazine Street which has plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as wonderful independent shops. Only a short walk to the streetcar stop to take you to the French Quarter. Rooms were fantastic, individually decorated and very large. Ours had a balcony which was lovely
Maybe a buffet breakfast would be better but what we had was great so only a suggestion and nothing more really

There were so many things to like about Maison Perrier!
The availability and helpfulness of the owner, Tom, were exceptional. Weeks before we arrived, he provided helpful tips on restaurants, car rental, and gave us such a friendly welcome.
We visited during Christmas week, and the inn was decorated beautifully for Christmas.
We stayed in the Irene suite, which was so spacious and lovely--perfect for me and my 2 adult daughters. It was very private, the only room/suite located on the 3rd (top) floor.
We had simple but nice breakfasts prepared each day. You get to choose what you eat from a list of fruit, cereal, mini quiches, pastries, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice.
There are many thoughtful extras: games, puzzles, books to borrow; cookies and other treats placed in the living room each day; complimentary bottled water and sodas in the bar area.
The Garden District neighborhood is very quiet. We easily parked our rental car in front of the Inn each day. Fun to walk around and see the beautiful homes. You can walk to shops and restaurants on Magazine Street.
Nothing to list here!

It's a pretty and historic building.
The innkeepers were very friendly.
There are games and books available, which we enjoyed.
The public rooms downstairs are lovely, with interesting art.
Breakfast was customizable and a very nice feature. Very good coffee. Daily paper available which has unfortunately become a rarity at hotels.
Quiet area. Only a few blocks from the St Charles streetcar and Magazine St shops and restaurants.
Parking can be a challenge but at least it's free. It's a narrow residential street with a narrow driveway. We ended up leaving our cars in the driveway and using the streetcar or Lyft.
Parts of porch and balcony not open to all guests. Depends on which rooms are occupied and when. Confusing.
Our rooms, Charlotte and Claire, need updating. The bathrooms were old and in need of renovation. The pictures on Booking.com make it seem all the rooms are large and updated. Ours were not. The bed in Charlotte seemed to dip to one side. The rooms were a disappointment.
The rooms upstairs require hiking up a steep and long staircase.
Review slightly edited because owner kept texting me to complain, and he's still not happy. That's a little creepy.

really enjoyed meeting Patricia and Tom and staying at Madison Perrier BB.
Great location, nice breakfast and very comfortable room.
Lots of great restaurants in the area and great neighborhood for walking

The house is preserved in an excellent condition and staying here feels like travelling back in time for a few days.
Tom & Patricia are superb hosts - every little detail is thought through, from the complimentary drinks and cookies in the lounge to the bathrobes and shower caps in the rooms. They also kindly offered us an upgrade as we were on our honeymoon so we got the balcony room, which is gorgeous. Having the delicious mini quiches while sitting on rocking chairs on the gallery was a real treat!
Garden District itself is also a beautiful area, within easy access to the French Quarter (you can take the St Charles Streetcar and make that part of the experience!).
We loved everything!

This place is absolutely beautiful and the owners Tom and Patricia were very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make is feel welcome. The house is even more beautiful in real life and everything was super clean. We loved staying here. The neighborhood feels safe and magazine street has amazing restaurants and breakfast places. The quiches made by Patricia were so delicious and try to visit Le boulangerie for the almond croissant!!
We definitely recommend!

Very safe location, lovely home. Felt very comfortable in our room as well as the public spaces. The porch was a great place to relax.
