Great location, the pool was awesome and the rooms were very comfortable and stylish.
The only thing would be the bums outside but other than that no complaints!

Ótimas opções. Equipe cordial, educada e atenciosa.

Comfortable beds, very lackluster view if your rooms are facing the inner courtyard. I cannot speak for the outward facing rooms. Bathrooms are clean and spacious enough for a group. Large TV was a nice surprise.
Lackluster view. Large support steel beam obstructing what little view I had. Make sure to be careful what rooms you book and ask for room details when you check-in. Gym was a bit disappointing.

The location was excellent for nightlife, the hotel rooftop was also good fun with a swimming more like a paddling pool and a great atmosphere. Good nights sleep.
The service was very poor, wife and I spent 7 nights / 8 days there, not once did we get a full housekeeping of the room, when we arrived reception explained thay have a eco policy not changing the sheets or towels every day - every 3 days. Which we agreed too with reassurance that if we needed anything they would do.
The room was cleanish, not much hanging or draw space. After 2 nights I asked if the room could get a service due to bins overflowing, sheets were soiled with sweat , Reception refused and we made a compromise to empty bins and it would get a service the next day. On the next day after seeing the cleaner on our floor for 4 hours I asked if she could do our room. Our room never got hoovered, sink, shower cleaned, restocked complementary treats. I had to ask for towels to be swapped- there wasn’t one thing they did without me asking. The tea, coffee and hit milk was nothing special I did highlight my dissatisfaction over it all.
We waited a long time to be served at the rooftop and in the end we would go to bar and get served.
Overall with the little things on top of each other I’ll give this hotel a miss.

We couldn't stay at the hotel due to the hurricane, however, the hotel did not charge us any cancellation fees even beyond the cancellation policy. I wish I could visit there but definitely next time.

Nice pool. Right in the middle of 5th street gaslamp action
So noisy, arguments in the street all night long, and then walking down the street from the hotel to the car rental was walking on skid row. We watched a crack deal go on right in front of us. This is a partiers hotel. The only reason to stay here is if you want to be right in the middle of gaslamp action.

Bryan was nice and helpful at the front desk. Staff was friendly and restocked our room well.
It is expensive for the location and the "market" was crazy expensive. Private event prevented us from having breakfast or time at the pool on our last day, and we had time to spare before we left the city for the day.

great location
considering it’s a 5* hotel and not cheap, it was pretty average

Great location. amazing steak house on site. good vibe. rooftop bar and pool were amazing
some rooms are loud. you can hear the club next door or noise from the street

I stayed a couple of nights at the Andaz in SD, the room was large, bathroom was clean, the bed were really comfy and huge, plus the staff were great and informative. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there are some great places close by to grab coffee with good healthy breakfast choices. I requested a quiet room, so I didn't have a room that faced the road, whilst the view wasn't amazing, I had a good night's sleep w/ no disturbances.
This hotel is probably a little tired and needs a bit of TLC in places - just general wear and tear issues. However, my main issue is no fault of the hotel and has more to do with the location and the homeless population in SD which is on its doorstep. As a woman travelling alone, I did not feel safe in this area, esp' in the evening. And if I were to visit again, I wouldn't opt to stay here.

It was a very comfortable room. It's a great location for bar hopping and has some nice food places around to either grab something quick or even sit down. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
The room was smaller than expected but not a big deal. Also when using the shower for some reason when getting in or out the water poured out onto the floor idk if it was slow leaking out during the shower I would just notice it when coming in or out. The seal on the bottom just might need the be redone and the draining during/after the shower was really loud. One last thing is I notice what look like little blood spatter on the bottom window underneath the one that opens. I was also thinking it could be rust but didn't sound logical with it being on the window. I've been in housekeeping so I understand how it could have been missed due to that specific area being mainly cover by the pillar inside the room.

location was great
There was no bell boy to help with our luggage.
There is no parking on site, it takes 25 minutes to get the car from the valet with is expensive.
There is bad odor in the corridors and room

very beautiful & spotless
this is absolutely a party hotel, or at least it wants to be. It is so obnoxiously loud in the restaurant and the noise from the street (screaming, fighting, car revving) travels all the way up to the top floor. If you are a “be seen to be seen” party type and enjoy extremely generic EDM this is the spot for you! They also have no printed material in the rooms for WiFi or restaurant info and only give you a QR code on the back of your key fob envelope…which takes you to a website where the information and menus are outdated. Overall a really disappointing “concept”.

they were very friendly and accommodating and by far the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and there was a huge convention in town
it was dark in the lobby and although the rooms have been updated the double occupancy rooms could use more bathroom space and privacy.

Not much
No mini bar. Room service was horrible. Paid 600 for a small room and outdated

We didnt stay because the hotel was completely surrounded by homeless camps and we wanted to be able to walk around. Didn't appear safe.
I wish we'd have known the amount of homeless camps directly around the hotel. This was not communicated and we wanted to be able to walk around safely.

Excellent up graded superior customer care as I expect from Hyatt
I walked to get a soda the bar could have helped me lol

Super nice location in the city center, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Nice rooftop and very friendly staff.
We had a room were in front it smelled really bad and though we told them two times they couldn't do anything about it. It would have been great to get another room as the hotel didn't seem to be full.
