The room was flawless, lovely bed, fabulous bath, just perfect.
Absolutely nothing.

Beautiful heritage home, fully renovated and modern room.

Very clean and beautifully modeled inn. The rooms are decorated so nice and such friendly service that I highly recommend it. We loved staying here and overnighting on our drive around Newfoundland.
Can’t think of anything bad to say honestly.

Location was perfect. Walked to restaurants and shops. Also walked to whale watch excursion.
Very warm in room. Could use a better fan

The Lawrence Room was absolutely spectacular. Very clean and comfortable and it looked brand new. Beautiful big bathroom. Access was straight from the parking lot and no stairs to climb with suitcases.
It was very hot day when we arrived and the room had no A/C. There was a fan but it was still difficult to get to sleep. Much better closer to morning.
The soap (and other bath products provided) were very smelly - rosemary is one of my least favourite scents, and it felt oily. Scent free products would be a much better choice.
Breakfast was barely adequate. The provision of bread or bagels and the addition of a toaster in the room would improve it immensely.
4.5
Breakfast was great and location was central where you could walk to alot of places.
TV selection but then again we were not there much. Since it was hot outside we had no air conditioning but it did cool down at night.

The history of the house we stayed in, and the other houses that comprise the Inn, was very interesting. The restoration of the place is beautiful, and part of a broader project to restore old buildings in the town. The room was very comfortable, nicely appointed, bright, and had everything we needed including wine and water glasses, mugs and coffee. The SMART TV was unexpected. A good breakfast was delivered to the door each morning. We took advantage of the private dinner that was offered. Each of the 6 or 7 courses was delicious, locally-sourced and the whole meal was good value. We asked a lot of questions and learned a lot from our hosts about the past and current goings-on in and around Bonavista. We very much enjoyed our stay.

it was very clean and had some great touches in the room
list of rules so making it not so comfortable Very warm could have used air conditioning or heat pump would have liked a better sitting area outside in some shade

Loved all the little details that made this stay a 10/10.. local soaps/shampoos from a nearby shop, live plants, robes, local coffee, etc. The attention to these small details really enhanced the stay and I would absolutely return in the future!

Stayed on the loft. It was a very clean king room with vaulted ceilings and large windows on three sides. Bathroom was large and had walk-in shower. Bed was perfect. I would stay here again.
A better coffee set up would be nice instead of a coffee press.

clean and comfortable

beautiful in a great location
in the binder it said breakfast gets delivered to your room but there was no basket delivered to the room. I don’t know if it’s something you have to request but if it is , it should be clarified in the binder. also no clear instructions for check out

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable room in a quiet part of town. Liked the locally produced shampoo etc in the bathroom, easy parking and access. Wish I'd had more time to spend in Bonavista.
I arrived on a damp and chilly evening and it took some time to find out how the heating worked. The 'kitchen' area could have done with some more room for food/drink preparation and a little milk in the fridge would have been appreciated for coffee.

The bed was comfortable. Bathroom, towels and robes were great. Tastefully decorated. The local shampoos and soap were a nice touch.
There was no continental breakfast. Some muffins, fruit and dry cereal in the room would have been nice. There was noises from the unit above us. We could loud walking a tables and chairs being moved…annoying.

We loved it all. The way we were greeted. The employee showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. The next morning was greeted with breakfast brought to our room. There is nothing bad to say.

The room was charming. I loved the windows and the small sitting room, and the location was great.
I found the breakfast lacking in a big way (a yogurt, hard boiled egg, green banana and muffin). Why breakfast was delivered to our room at 0800 rather than being served in the beautiful dining room is beyond me …

beautiful old building. The room was cozy and well stocked. The breakfast was great too

Travelling to Bonavista and booked into the Russelltown Inn we were offered the "Loft". The upstairs room was spacious and beautifully appointed with high quality furniture and accessories. The finishing and cleanliness was superb, and decorating current.
In the large bathroom toiletries from West Coast Glow were offered and appreciated, as was the local Bonavista Coffee Company coffee with a French press.
Bonus - we had been travelling for a few days across the island and when checking in we were offered the use of the machine on the lower (entrance) level of our unit which was nice.
Breakfast was a winner with a carafe of coffee accompanied with yogurt, muffins, warm boiled eggs and fruit.
the ONLY comment would be that the water pressure was not the best and that the sink and shower could not be used in conjunction.

What a wonderful surprise to arrive at Russelltown Inn. I was not expecting such a quaint and cozy house, with warm, inviting hosts. We stayed in The Loft which is a separate building just behind the main Inn. Our room was spacious, very clean, with king size bed, modern bathroom which looked brand new (included 2 bathrobes). TV had great channels including Netflix, YouTube. Room rate was very reasonable and came with a continental breakfast delivered to your door. Bathrobes, coffee, tea, free wifi and anything else you could need was included. Location was good as well with easy walk or drive to selection of restaurants and pubs nearby. We wish we were staying more than the one night!

food ok but we didn’t like continental breakfasts

Good continental breakfast delivered to room, good location was in center of Bona Vista, newly renovated rooms room.
Rooms were a bit noisey.

Very nicely renovated property. Comfortable bed. Ours was a good size room with a small sitting area and a very good bathroom. The bathroom products are from a local company (don’t remember the name) and are very high end. Breakfast was a hamper delivered to the door each morning and was much more than we needed - muffins, yoghurt, muesli, fresh coffee. Delicious. They don’t have a guest laundry but the staff were kind enough to let us use the on site one which was a godsend as laundromats are rare in Newfoundland.
Nothing.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Enjoyed staying in the Inn, all the history, clean and comfortable.
Trouble with keeping window open, no ac

Stayed 3 nights Sept. 9-12, 2022. Updated heritage house. Great bathroom. Easy walking distance to restaurants and some attractions. In cool weather the room was easy to heat up (but not to cool down for sleeping) Good storage space too.
Even with open windows (slightly), the rooms never really cooled down for sleeping. (probably very hot in the summer months!). Breakfast sounded good, but was only fair. (only coffee-mate even when there is a fridge in the room?)

Breakfast Basket was delivered and kept outside the room and it was very cute.
Room was very cozy and cute looking. It was clean and pretty cottage. Loved the ambience and stay. Staff was very cooperative.
While booking we booked Russel town Inn Partial ocean view room but we were given a room with no view . Also did not know there is no AC or fan, it was very hot in the night . Kept the windows open but still felt hot in summer.
