A relaxing time that is enjoyable.

The view! The Ambiance of the facility the way the staff was being kind and greeting you and wanting to help you and giving you the best of everything that you had asked for.

The burger restaurant was an open which is my absolute favorite but past that everything else was excellent!

Leuke locatie, maar dit hotel gaan we niet meer bezoeken.

De grootte van de kamer en de aanwezigheid van een lobbybar. Ook de ligging is geweldig. Veel leuke en goede restaurants en breakfast locaties in de buurt. Tripadvisor is daarin een heel goed hulp.

De receptionist koos er voor om een soort onverstaanbaar afro-amerikaans taalgebruik te hanteren. Gewoon niet te volgen en te verstaan, toch bleef hij gewoon doorgaan. Gewoon waardeloos en niet passend bij een dergelijk duur hotel. Wat echter nog veel waardelozer was, was het feit dat we dagelijkse "Destination Fee" moesten betalen van € 25,-- p.p. per dag. Dus het dure hotel werd nog veel duurder. Ergo, het bedrag op de site van Booking.com komt niet overeen met het gefactureerde bedrag. Na een beetje doorvragen werden we ineens te woord gestaan door een nog chagrijniger type, die min of meer dreigende taal begon te gebruiken. Een flink getatoeëerde receptionist die mij gaat bedreigen kan gewoon echt niet !!!

Overall terrible experience.

There is nothing to like about this hotel besides the location.

This was my first time staying at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk and the entire experience was awful. I booked the Illinois Suite for three of my friends and I for one night, July 20-21. The only reason we choose that room was because it had two double beds, one queen pull out sofa and a kitchenette. When we arrived to the property we were greeted with not very friendly attitude from the front desk person. We knew our room probably wasn't ready yet since we arrived around 11am. The front desk person said that they are completely booked and we now have a room with one king bed, but he offered two rollaway beds. Which we were not happy with but we had no choice so we agreed to go with it. We left our bags since the room wasn't ready and went about our day. When we returned back to the hotel after receiving the text, our room was ready. When we checked in I told the front desk that I wanted to make sure that we have at least 3 beds in the room since that was what I booked, he said that most likely they can only bring one rollaway bed due to safety and that we only have one king in the room. We got to our room and it was regular king size bed room, not a suite. I went back to the front desk to address it that it was just a room not a suite and that we need extra beds since there was four of us staying there. I got a big attitude from a third person I was dealing with. I asked to speak to a manager, the person said that the manager wasn't there at the moment. He said that it's a suite we just need to open the joining room door to the living room area which requires another key that we never received. He said that he'll work and the extra beds. I've waited another hour... no beds were delivered. I called the service desk and asked for the beds again and extra bedding. The lady apologized and said she's gonna put it on rush.

I’ll come back again and again if I get a better deal

My room has no refrigerator and the shower sink was moving out of walls plus next door inside room was very lowed and they were your hotel’s employees who stay there at night and dad door between us and them . This is my third in that hotel and I never paid that much money all my life .

Close to the water and all stuff we’re very very helpful .

I didn’t like anything about this stay. Customer service is terrible.

We attempted to cancel the room 5/30 due to our show on 5/31 being cancelled. They said absolutely not without charge and then didn’t have a room for us.

Location

I booked the river view and I called several times to booking and the hotel before our stay to confirm the view. However they gave us water view which is the lake and only the portion of the river. I asked the manager for a switch after I got the room but they refused.I went there for st Patrick day but I couldn’t see anything from my window( just a portion of river). So disappointed. Also, facilities were poor, only a small pool which was too crowded. Overall it didn’t worth the price, u can find better hotels with same price and same location.

Great location at a reasonable price

It is in a wonderful location, close to shopping, attractions, and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

It had a "Riverview," but on higher floors, it is hard to see the river. Hotel does charge a resort fee, but that fee includes a daily $25 food & beverage credit (plus other benefits). We used the credit on room service for dessert.

The location is great. We love how big the lobby area is. There are plenty of sitting areas, if you just want to relax while you are waiting on your group. My girls love hangin out at the lobby areas.

We enjoy Sheraton, we are heading back this weekend actually.

If looks can be deceiving with the hotel, the Sheraton wins hands down 🚫

The location is superb. The Sheraton itself is legendary

The room did not match what the description said. I had to wait two and a half hours to check in. The room wasn't clean. The hotel wasn't clean. The staff wasn't very helpful. There was no light over the dinner table. It was just horrible. It was just really uncomfortable. I would never book here again and for the amount of money that I've spent it was just horrible. There was no kitchen at it and the wrong pacifically said it was and then when I called the hotel the young lady told me that in this Pacific room it was. It was the only reason why upgraded and it wasn't. How disappointed was I oh my god but there was a manager on staff Rene he is pretty much the best thing this hotel got going. He was very, very helpful to try to resolve the situation, though they may promises that they didn't fulfill. He was helpful in a lot of ways and I appreciate that. But overall don't go through the house of that. I went through just book someplace else fellas. Happy New years! 💝... FYI the pictures that I'm sharing are pictures from my hotel room. I rent it the Illinois one large bedroom almost $800 a night and the light fixture didn't even have bulbs in it but one the bathroom. It was just a medicine. Oh it was a mess you guys.

Terrible—do NOT recommend.

Suzanne (the concierge) might be the nicest person ever. So is Fred at the baggage check.

They overbooked the hotel and tried to say they had no room for me and send me to another hotel at 11 pm. Then, when I insisted they give me a room it took more than an hour. The wifi (which was VERY expensive 19 USD per day) was useless. The free conference wifi was significantly better. The restaurants and bar were closed most of the time and there was a HUGE line up for the premade sandwiches. They also add on a TON of fees after you book. I am deeply unsatisfied.

Nice hotel but be careful with the destination fee

Location is perfect, the view of s fantastic. A lot of space

Destination fee is very annoying: when you see the price in booking you see it without taxes and destination fee, then you see that you have a $25 mandatory destination fee per day. When you book it you get a message saying that the destination fee includes pool, gym etc and a $20 food and drink credit….so you go at the bar where you obviously spend more than $20. I strongly believe that if the destination fee is mandatory….it should be just part of daily price instead of seen this little surprise at the check out.

Good location hotel, but probably not the best choice to stay during Chicago Marathon.

The hotel is in good location though not the best to go around most of the attractions in Chicago. The breakfast quality was very nice with good variety. Room was in good condition and clean.

There were a lot of guest there for Chicago Marathon, but the hotel did not accomodate the runners to have early breakfast prepared. Destination fee was also something not worth. It was probably just the way the hotel trying to earn more.
