I truly appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as the gorgeous interior and the many personal touches the hosts John and Stephen have added creating a unique and cosy place. I warmly recommend the Inn which is a rare delight at a really great price. I will definitely return if I have the pleasure of visiting the equally gorgeous 1000 island region again.
The only, one tiny thing I can think of is to add a piece of bread to the otherwise very well assorted breakfast basket for people like myself who avoid eating sugar in the morning.

Second time staying here and it is lovely. Steve and John are wonderful hosts. It is very nicely decorated, great bar for after dinner. The breakfast cooler in the morning is delicious and generous. Lots of fruit, even a small bottle of bubbly and orange juice to make a mimosa!
Nothing, everything was perfect.

Location
Continental breakfast offered and not many options in town for an early breakfast to catch the boat ride.

Location . Comfort
TV too small . Would prefer a full breakfast as opposed to fruit and muffin .

I loved the inn and it's location. I felt that the room should have had an additional chair and table for possibly eating breakfast in room. I am not a bed sitter. We also felt that for the price breakfast could have been a little more substantial or at least served with proper dishes and utensils. I had the feeling that guests are very much encouraged to not eat or drink in their rooms. All staff including the owners were very kind and helpful with travel ideas etc. however there was no effort to help with bags.
See above.

Beautiful historic home that is close to the downtown and water. Love the idea of the breakfast in the cooler delivered each morning- Could eat it in your room or take down to the dining room or patio. Had a small bottle of champagne and orange juice to make a fancy drink. Friendly staff and great meal for dinner took by the chef. Enjoyed the stay.

There is a lovely vintage feel to the place and it is a good location. Staff were very helpful
The cold breakfast left at your door the night before is adequate but nothing spectacular. The bathrooms could be updated.

John & Steve and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They answered all our questions, recommended restaurants for breakfast & dinner (the restaurant in the Inn was full - it was Mothers Day), and safely stored our bikes. The suite was clean, beautifully furnished and, most importantly, the bed was very comfortable.

The breakfast in the cooler outside our door was delicious. Ham and cheese croissant sandwiches with Prosecco and orange juice, fruit, yogurt was a lovely touch.

Everything was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon. Our breakfast cooler was a lovely addition to the whole experience. Our hosts were wonderful and we feel we have made two new friends.

John and Steve are the perfect Inn keepers. I wish we found them years ago. My wife and I have done many Inns across Ontario as they are our preferred accommodation. This Inn stands with the best of them. We visit Gananoque three or four times a year and the Woodview Inn will now be our place to stay for every visit. I reluctantly give John and Steve a praising review as I'm afraid there will be no available rooms for my wife and I when I return (LOL). I would also like to mention that you should consider their dining room as a dinner option.Their dining room is popular with local residents and has been fully booked every evening during my recent stay so make sure you make a reservation at your earliest opportunity.
Nothing.

Lovely historic inn beautifully decorated for Xmas. Hosts were very welcoming.

The Inn is beautiful reminder of past elegance and charm. The dining room could easily be the setting for a Hallmark movie. The restaurant serves delicious fare in a quiet, gracious setting. The staff are welcoming and informative. It's one of the Crown jewels of Thousand Islands. Our second stay this Fall, and we'll be back again next year for sure.

lovely old building run by two very pleasant and helpful gentlemen. when we had an unavoidable problem with our room it was immediately resolved by moving us to another one. we were a little sceptical about the breakfast boxes but actually they worked well with good tasty food which we took into the restaurant where we were served with proper tea and coffee.
started in a ‘garden room’ which was very small with a very small bathroom. we were very pleased to be moved to a larger room in the main building.

Friendly helpful couteous owners and staff. Very flexible to accomodate special dietary needs (gluten free).
Everything was great.

I could not possibly say enough good things about our stay here. I would go back to Gananoque JUST to stay here. The hosts and staff are amazing, the facilities were fantastic, the wine at the bar was excellent, breakfast was great, the location was great. I love love loved all of it. Best place we stayed in Canada. Can't wait to go back. The rooms were impeccable and clean and modern and comfortable. Lots of pillows on the bed (which I love). EVEN had febreze in the bathrooms (no hotel does that!). The staff was wonderful. Hosts were wonderful. Thanks for an amazing stay, wish we would have been there longer!!! My most favorite hotel quite possibly EVER.
literally NOTHING

After an Personal and warm welcome the owner walked us to our room. In the evening we explored the gorgeous little town Gananoque. The location of the hotel is perfect - you can reach everything by foot. The Dinner recommendations we got at the hotel where on point. We loved the hotel room - the USB sockets are great to charge your mobile device! The towels and linen are very high in quality. And the breakfast cooler in the morning is such a great idea :)
More savory vegan/vegetarian options for breakfast cooler

Continental Breakfast was good.
Staff were accommodating, but a bit rushed at dinner .

Breakfast was nutritious and enough food to get you going for the day! It's hard to plz everyone. I love croissants, cheese, fruit, cheese, great coffee. A mini omelette inside a croissant would be incredible. However, you must receive tons of ideas and you'll still not plz every person. Recently, I stayed at a resort with the same type of breakfast in a basket likes yours. Prepared oatmeal with a little side cup with a lid of locally made granola, and milk. Juice, small energy bar and a tangerine, I believe. It was very nice, too. Oatmeal made the night before, where the oats are soaked with milk and soften by morning.
Little critique. I was half way up the stairs, schlepping suitcases to the next level. It was a bit of a challenge. A staff member did offer to drag them up the remaining way, which I willfully accepted. Perhaps a sign in the front hallway to let clients know that there is a service to help with luggage. If I was 40 again, no problem. Great for the legs but not my suitcase of my rock collection. lol

home like, nice garden, in quiet neighbourhood. Breakfast was not tip top, but managed to be fresh and with some thoughts put into it, and we didn’t need to line up for food.
size of room is really small, TV was not working well, we needed to reset it, yet we still could not tune down the volume. We were not very much TV persons anyway, but I think it should be checked.

The room was beautiful and We loved the breakfast supplied.
Nothing we didn’t like
