Great location, walked right next door to twigs restaurant and sat at the bar and had a great dinner with fabulous drinks- our 2 small dogs who are created did very well - loved kurig coffee maker and mini fridge in sitting room
Room furniture too large for the space - sitting room should have two small upright chairs and small bistro size coffee table so that one can make coffee easier - instead of oversized enormous chair with matching enormous ottoman - all dogs should be required to be kept in keeps/ create because we did have an anxiety Poot dog next door that cried quite a bit

we travel with our little 4lb Yorkie and they are very accommodating to pets. I also like that they followed up with a phone call a few hours after we settled in to make sure everything was ok. glad The bed was very comfy and the location was perfect.
They have a beautiful lodge at the office. it’s a shame they don’t have a social hour there for their guest.

Girl at desk was friendly.
The pictures on booking.com do NOT match the Inn - they have been photoshopped to look nice. This place is old and tired. The room was clean but smelled like a very old building. I paid 269.00 for one night and then was uncharged for our dog and paid 2.00 for a bottle of water. No breakfast. Husband could not sleep because bed was so small, every time he rolled over he thought he was falling off bed (we are average size, not fat). We traveled for 6 nights and this was our worst stay. I do not like to bad mouth a place but feel I was really ripped off. I see others have also commented on it being "tired" -- my fault for not reading reviews more carefully.

check on is at 3:00 - I got there at 2:50 and the staff would not let me check in until 3:00 so I went and set in my car for 10min. I found that rather a little annoying

Great location! We were walking distance from downtown Blowing Rock and nearby restaurants. The facilities and room were cozy and clean.
Due to staffing shortages, there was a delay in our room being ready.

It was very clean, which I appreciate more than you know.
it was hard to get the curtains completely closed. I had to push the chair back to hold front curtain.

The hotel was deserted when we arrived at 7.30 although the reception was to be open until 8. When we finally found someone and we’re given a key for a room it was a dark compact room which smelt musty and was in need of a freshman up. The towels were small and so thin. We never saw the guest lounge area as it was closed all the time we were there and the deck for the room looked out onto a car park. We didn’t even see anyone when we left as you were to just drop your keys in a box.
Just to note- this hotel is next to the busy bypass road for the village although you could walk up 5he hill into the Main Street.

This is an old fashioned, mountain motel, that is clean, comfortable, and well located for a visit to Blowing Rock. Rooms are of ample size, bath's remodeled recently. Large flat screen TV with decent channel selection. Friendly staff. Warm greeting on arrival. Easy check out. Pet fee is $25 a night.
Entrance to parking is not as clearly marked as it could be. Getting in an out is a bit touchy because of the new US 321 design. Not the hotel' fault.

This place was a gem! We decided on a whim to go visit blowing rock and needed a pet friendly place for our German shepherd. On entering the staff was AMAZING! We were only planning to stay one night but ended up booking a second night in which we chose a cheaper room for the second night. Both rooms were clean and the beds were so comfy! We cooked out the second night on their grills and really enjoyed how quaint this place was! We will 100% stay again if we have the change
Prices were a tad high

Due to current social distancing requirements the staff did not come around. The room was exceptional. It’s the best place I have stayed at in a long time. Close to food and attractions and 10 mins from skiing. If I come to blowing rock again I will definitely stay at village inn again!
