Devita at the front desk was great! The location is excellent, having the diner attached is a great bonus. It’s right across from the village for other shopping and dining. Indoor pool was nice and the hotel was clean.
It’s a bit dated and worn. It could definitely use some maintenance but it was clean.

Location to everything we came to see and do.
The building is run down and unkept so was creepy to go out at night and shocking to see when pulling up.

the staff were very helpful and kind.
everything just seemed rundown. we've been staying here for about 10 years for the thanksgiving holiday since we have family in the area.

Our first room had an awful smell, requested a change immediately. Which was granted.
I also requested first floor, no elevator. Also granted. Customer service was accommodating.
Our room/ Patio faced an unkempt patch of property that backs up to the diner’s parking lot and large dumpsters. The patio” felt more like a back alley especially with empty beer cans and bottles strewn about. “Door B” from the parking lot doesn’t lock, leaving the hotel open to the public.
Everything about this hotel is tired, old and in need a remodel. The valence on the window was stained and covered in tape, looks like someone hung balloons or party signs days prior. So much for housekeeping and attention to detail.
You’d think a Wyndham property in an upscale vacation destination such as Mystic would be better than this. Luckily this was a quick one night stay and we spent the majority of our time outside of the hotel.
That being said, the money we saved at this hotel allowed us to indulge on many of the fantastic restaurants in the area.

Location & cost.
Outside noise.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Water pressure good. Very close to Mystic Village, but not an easy walk; it's still easier to drive over and park nearby, especially if rain is threatening.
Pool much smaller than what pictures made it seem. Water VERY chlorinated. Room smelled moldy/musty. Entry B door wasn't locked and the connected foyer was shabby -- not a good look for when you enter the facility.

Clean and central location. Great diner next door.
AC kept going on and off even though it wasn’t on “auto”. Carpets in hallway and room smelled a bit.

The room was spacious and there’s a Tesla destination charger.
Room isn’t cleaned properly, rooms are only cleaned every 4 days and there was a rodent/animal in the ceiling, would wake me up at 5am every morning.

pool, price, location.
check in staff took my ID and never gave it back. Luckily next day's staff noticed and called me to retrieve it, after I'd checked out but before I left Mystic. A/C pretty noisy.

Rooms had mold and smelled like mold.

the pool is newly redone; could use more towels :)
the bed is too close to forced air heating fan ( this is an AC/heat air combo). would be nice to have some kind of shield, as it is making a bit difficult to sleep at night.

The staff is wonderful. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Mystic Village and Aquarium within walking distance. Diner attached to hotel with great food and 10% discount for hotel guests. Indoor heated pool.
Building is a bit older so it's a bit drafty and the heaters can take a little tinkering with to get the right temp. Other than that, nothing!

I tested positive for Covid the afternoon of our planned trip, however hotel refused to acknowledge any requests for a refund or offer a credit for another time despite 3 attempts to reach the hotel.

Great off the freeway location. Enjoyed the diner next door.
A little noisy. The walls are a little thin.

location was ok.
There was no one at the desk when we were checking in. I finally yelled (hello) .Door at building B was broke so anyone could enter the hotel. Rooms are dirty and had mold in the bathroom. Pool was freezing and if you stayed more than 5 minutes in the pool area your eyes were burning from the chemicals. went to address these issues with the front desk and the woman that checked us in was making out with what I assume was her boyfriend so I just turned around and went back to my room.

The staff was incredibly friendly. The staff went out of their way to correct the issues with my first room as well as make sure my family remained comfortable. The parking was well lit and there were lots of amenities close by.
My first room was filled with black mold and smelled awful. There was mold over the sliding glass door, there was fuzzy mold on the baseboards. There were holes in the walls and bumps from previous water damage. The second room was better except the mattresses were clearly older and sagged in the middle. The ac/heater was filled with dust and debris and smelled like it was burning when we turned it on. The TV didn't work, however my neighbors clearly did as I could hear it all night thru the paper thin walls.

Multiple assessable entry points. Entry B should be revisited as the parking wraps around facility and if Land between A and C which I did was not fun taking that unnecessary walk through
Facilities needs some TLC.
Bathroom has a broken soap dish with exposed prong which could prove dangerous. Should be relaced!!!!!
Bathroom ceiling tiles frames needs a good paint job..the rusty discoloration is unattractive as people usually look up while using toilet. The facility is not new so there is expected wear and tear these small fixes would have garnered a higher rating.
Vending machine only took credit cards. For a budget saving family, the service charge is not appreciated.
