Location to Basalt downtown district and bumps up to Frying Pan River. if you want to be Central to Aspen and Glenwood Springs while doing fly fishing it's fantastic. Really nicely upgraded rooms from what appears to be an older motel.
It was warm in Aug 2023 so between all fans and river, blast TV and still kind of hot.

Location
No elevator, hair dryer did not work and air conditioning took hours to cool.

The website show’s wonderful rooms overlooking the river. This is my third time staying here and all I ever see is motel quality rooms on a parking lot, separated from the river by other businesses.
The rooms are motel quality.. at hotel prices.
The staff is indifferent and not accommodating. I requested a later checkout (and was granted). It was only an hour (noon instead of eleven) but I was planning on fishing at sunrise and the get a nap before leaving.
At 8 I was woken by pounding on my door (8!!) I explained that I had late checkout. I was continually woken up by the same housekeeper to see if I was still there. So finally I just checked out (early).
When I brought this up to the person at the front desk, she shrugged and said it wasn’t her who granted me early check out .. she was off that day. No, sorry for the inconvenience, nothing.

The room was so nice and spacious. I was very surprised by the views and I loved the balcony set up with two chairs for each room. We walked about 20 feet from where our room was and there was a river/creek near by and was so beautiful to look at in the morning.
I did not know that they did not have elevators. We had travelled with one big luggage, but luckily we are agile and could carry it up.

Breakfast was pretty good. Good coffee.
More whole grain bagels, bread, items with protein, besides hard boiled eggs.

The staff who helped us check in are nice and helpful.
The staff we met at breakfast wasn’t friendly.

Great location. Loved being by the water. Room was great too.

The room was wonderful. From the furnishings to linens, bed, everything was perfect! The breakfast was a bonus. Toasted English muffin and boiled egg. Great coffee! No a/c, but it wasn't necessary. Had a ceiling fan and could open the small window at the other end of the room to create a draft. I could hear the river outside my door. I had room 114, a Riverside King room. There was a microwave and fridge and small table with two chairs. It was so nice to feel close to nature. It was cozy and quiet. I was traveling alone and it couldn't have been more comfortable and affordable. Every room facing the river had a small table and two chairs right outside the door. I drank my coffee and read the morning paper out there with the sounds of the river rushing by. Pure perfection!
Gosh, I am not sure! I really cannot think of anything.

Great location - Super clean room
There was no A/C in the rooms and it was a bit warm

Nothing
The guy at check in was not very customer service oriented. Didn't feel very welcome by him. He gave us our key to our room but gave no direction to where our room was. We had to go searching for it. I've never been to a hotel where there's notes everywhere. Charges for changing remote settings and then we go to get breakfast and in CAPITAL LETTERS WITH SEVERAL EXCLAMATION POINTS, STATING "NOT TO TAKE BREAKFAST OUT OF LOBBY!!!!" That is very very strange to have notes like that. So I was uncomfortable from the start and felt I was in a not so friendly place! WON'T BE BACK!!!!!

simple, no fuss; but clean and comfy and spacious enough. the location on the riverbank was wonderful; and right in center of town too.
a little bit of parking noise since our room was over parking spaces. Also smokers. We had a non-smoking room, but the building permitting smoking was close by so we could smell it; and also, people smoked out by the beautiful river bank which killed the vibe.

Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, beautiful stay just feet away from the river.
Staff was very accommodating.

The Hotel was promote as rooms next to confluence of two fast moving streams. The King non smoking upstairs was 100 ft from any stream, The hotel would not revise or reservation to a building next to the streams. Their statement was "that" was the room we booked. Rooms 131 thru 136 are 100 ft distant from the stream. We had arrived were but they refused to even look for a room near the streams.. "Very disappointed"

Clean room, comfortable, quiet.
Helpful staff, friendly.
Complimentary breakfast was a bonus.

The hotel backs up to a river and it was wonderful to hear the sound of water outside my window. It is conveniently located to restaurants and shops. The woman at the front desk was super helpful. I had just finished a long of bicycling and she let me check in a little early.
