It was in a good location, staff was friendly and helpful.
Housekeeping did not clean the restroom or stock supplies/towels for a few days. The heater was loud when being turned on and the appliances were old or broken.

Pros:
+ The room was clean.
+ Rooms have been renovated.
+ The tv actually had a "guide" channel so you can see what's on. It's frustrating when you literally have to go through every channel just to see what's on. If you travel often, you know what I mean.
+ The staff was very kind and helpful.
+ There were plenty of places within walking distance.
+ Beds were comfortable
- The outside of the establishment looked a little rugged. They need to think about upgrading that so it is a little more inviting.
- The bathroom we were in had kind of s bad "caulking" job done. They need to hold their maintenance crew a little more accountable.
- They need to update their keypad/sign in device in the office. Several people had a hard time using it and it was hard to read.
- The closet space sits directly above the fridge and coffee maker. Unfortunately, I could not hang anything because the hangers are the kind that you remove from the little metal bracket and they were ALL stuck on the right side above the coffee/fridge area. I couldn't get them over to the other end so my clothes could hang. There is a center support that prevented that. That really needs to be fixed! It was probably the only major complaint I had.

Honestly was expecting some hokey, not so great motel, but it was newly remodelled, everything spotless, great for pets and kids, super friendly and helpful desk staff.
Nothing. I will totally stay here again. Completely exceeded my expectations.

The bed was great, the upgrades to the room was great. The location was perfect for the event we were going to. Location was close to grocery store and eating places
They were no kitchen supplies. The water pressure was low.

The room was very cute newer furniture and the walls were absolutely gorgeous, so was the flooring . Plenty of towels and pillows, we loved our stay .
One of the beds was worn out and I kept rolling in the middle of the bed .

Location
The floor was so dirty my kids feet were so black we had to wear shoes inside the whole 3 days we were there plus the coach roaches were everywhere the shower water pressure was a drizzle then the man at the counter on night shift was very rude he said not to use his towels on the floor or to clean our children's feet from the filthy floor

Staff are great. Price is good.
A few things were not great, but staff fixed and offered another room if we wanted. Nothing that was unlivable.

Nothing
The fact that I slept in my car super cold and rainy outside. 3:00am and unable to check out the room ultimately due to night clerks inability to process transaction as she was only hired 2 weeks prior and wasn't knowledgeable on her specific job duties needed to be a hotel clerk. It's been since Nov 30th and I still don't have my refund of $140. Rodeo inn should have instantly contacted booking.com to make it known there was a cancelation due to lack of knowledge on how to process and finalize transactions through booking.com. The 3 merchants....Rodeo inn, booking.com, and cash app will both lose a customer once this refund finalizes I will no longer participate or contribute to the merchants involved. I booked and paid in full online on November 30th and I'm still doing all the foot work and phone calling and getting NO RESULTS. Booking.com had the same $140 as a pending transaction and while on the phone with merchant discussing m pending transaction all of a sudden the pending transaction showed completed. That's crooked and not very customer friendly. If they don't care about my needs and rights can only imagine the next victim that attempts to use booking .Com or the Rodeo inn. Waste of time money and energy.

I enjoyed staying in this hotel so close to everything Clovis! Although there is definitely a vintage vibe here ( think spacious rooms with a kitchenette, large old west murals decorate each room… and the old style motor access hotel style) things have been nicely updated, everything worked, and everything was clean. Great!!
the room was a little dim… could have used a light in the closet… but it HAD a closet!! that’s pretty sweet.

We didn’t go.
Noisy people upstairs all night long. They were yelling, moving furniture, stomping….sounded like they were bowling.. not kidding! Three cockroaches in the bathroom.

Nice location and very clean and well lit parking lot A+ for safety.

The rest of it.
The bed was hard as a rock. The shower doesn't spray enough, pressure was fine though. Although they accept pets, there is not anywhere to take them out where they're paws wont burn in the heat.

Late check in was accommodating. My room was roomy and clean. I love that it has a kitchenette. It was pretty quiet even though I stayed over the 4th of July.
This is an economy stay so I don't have higher expectations. It has clearly been refurbished with a few rough edges but that is ok. My main complaint would be in this particular room 124 (I've stayed in others that weren't like this), the AC isn't beside the bed. Because of this it felt like the circulation in the room wasn't as good. Maybe a ceiling fan or option to direct the vent on the AC would help.

Location and price.
Torn curtains that didn't close properly, torn shower curtain but mostly silverfish roaches.

Location, friendly
Pillows were very old and stained, Drapes were hanging off the window and had tears in them.
I had to ask for clothes pens to hold the drapes together, where people could not see in. Towels were suppose to be white but were very old and rough

The bedding was clean, the kitchen and bathroom were fine (except the floors)
The floors were filthy, they obviously weren’t mopped. The man who checked me in was tired so when I went back to ask for an ice bucket, it seemed like i was bothering him. they didn’t have enough ice buckets so He asked if I really needed one: I said an ice bag would do. Later, another person helped me and he was fine. I’ve stayed here before and no problems but this time was not good and priced higher than usual with no breakfast like they used to have. And no desk to work on, the table was pushed to a corner with no lights.
