Room was not cleaned, there was trash in the room and even though it said nonsmoking it smelled of cigarettes and we found an ashtray which was full... very disgusting

The beds were very comfortable and the location nice and quiet.
I thought the lobby could use some updating and improved coffee offerings.

Comfortable beds, updated room. The bagel place next to the motel is exceptional.
Just wanted to point out that the room's window is looking into the common hallway. You can't open curtains for a light. The room was not dusted everywhere and the floors were not clean. But in general it was a good stay.
4.5
Good facilities, dog friendly, lots of lawn space.
My only problem was that I called ahead to assure I was getting a 1st floor room and that I was in the same room both nights and although the worker on the phone said they would make sure that was accommodated, and that I needed to pay more for the double bed 1st floor room, so I did pay extra, and when I arrived they only gave me a 2nd floor room and separated the room stays. My mom cannot visit or go upstairs easily. Later they said I can stay in the room both nights if I ask at the desk next day but that I had to take the second floor since they were full. So I paid extra for nothing. Basically they said they couldn't help me because I booked through a third party, booking.com. at the desk and during my stay they were very nice though.

2.5
It is a good location and was cheap.
Going into a budget stay you do not expect much and they did not deliver much either. The true negative was our second room was not cleaned properly. That is unacceptable.
