I love this hotel and have always enjoyed staying here while visiting our daughter. It was disheartening what I experienced with 2 front desk staff members. We were not placed in the room we booked. My booking.com confirmation stated we were in a king street view suite, with a kitchenette and a private room with a sofa bed. I expressed to the evening and night shift staff that I was not place in the correct room. I showed my booking confirmation to the evening young lady who agreed, and said she would call the supervisor. When I returned to the hotel after a quick dinner she said on the Best Western side it said I reserved the smaller suite. I did not reserve the smaller suite. I called booking.com and the representative was amazing and very kind and she confirmed the room I reserved. The office staff on the evening and night shift were rude to me when I asked for some sort of compensation because I was not in the right room. They didn’t care and both said if I don’t like my room I can leave; even though, I didn’t get what I paid for. The night shift staff person is an awful human. She was extremely rude to the booking.com representative over the phone as I was sitting in the lobby. She was demanding and yelling over the phone to the booking.com representative for her full name. Extremely unprofessional and then she again told me at 12:30am that if I didn’t like my room I could leave in a very uncaring manner. Terrible customer care from the front desk staff. I left the lobby in tears related to active grieving. These two ladies didn’t care about me or my family or my situation. They are heartless and should not interact with customers EVER. Booking.com is actively working on this unfortunate situation.
The remodel of the lobby is lovely

Great location and the room was nicely updated and comfy.
Blinds in room were broken, bugs in the bathroom and a serious rat issue in the courtyard. Overpriced and little value to what received. We’ve been here numerous times and no prior issues compare to our recent stay. We will not be returning.

Breakfast was more than enough to get your day going. Upon check in we were early and they happily held our bags. Location to all the LGBTQ bars and restaurant was so close to everything we wanted! The staff were nice as well.
In the middle of the night the thermostat malfunctioned- we reset it and went back to bed- but it turned to heat several times. When we let the front desk know- the maintenance engineer was there in two minutes and fixed it- it was fast and easy.

Quick, easy walk to Wrigley Stadium.
They raise prices during home Cubs games…almost $500 per nighthawk on the weekend!

The room and accomodations were wonderful. It was very close to Wrigley Field. Very nice to be within walking distance of different restaurants and tourist attractions. Also, all of the staff was very kind and helpful. We will definitely visit again in the future.
The only down side to our visit was that parking was terrible. Took us about an hour for a parking spot to open so we could have a spot where we could actually open our doors to get in and out of our truck.
4.3
Proximity to Wrigley Field without having to pay a lot per night along with the cheaper parking fee. Staff was great as well!!
Breakfast was good the first morning but the lady who was restocking the food threw the scrambled eggs away right after she made them and told my daughter not to eat them on the morning we were checking out. Not sure what happened but we didn’t get breakfast at the hotel before we left for home.

Parking was convenient. Bed was comfortable. Extra sitting space in room was great!

Bed were very comfortable. Shower was very nice and clean.
Breakfast really needs some improvement. More space and more seating. Updated gym would add to the hotel.

Only thing wrong was the closet door was broken.

nothing it was all good

Breakfast was good; replenished and menu items changed daily. As well as; all staff was friendly enough and took pride in their hospitality.
To have a later check-out or availability to have an early check-in. This will aid in airport travels which take a toll on the family and make for long trips.

the location was in a nice area that was easy to walk around in so that was nice. i think the location was pretty much the only good thing abt this hotel though.
the breakfast was straight up bad, not many choices, the “hot” breakfast was disgusting frozen items heated up. the hotel charged my card an extra $130 & my card wasn’t even on file. so i couldn’t spend that money in chicago or on rent when I got home. very, very disappointing. the bed had a box spring that was so loud and creaky that it was uncomfortable to sleep on. the heater/ac started up and sounded like a freight train every time it turned on throughout the night.
4.3
Easily accessible. Selection was good. Was available when promised.
Nothing.
