Room was clean and spacious.
The room cost for the particular weekend that we visited was much higher than the year before but I think it might had to due with the county fair that was going on right down the street.

Lots of lovely, clean grassy areas for my pet to stretch his legs. Nicely kept grounds. I noticed a cute playground and also a pool.
This is no fault of the hotel, but some locals riding “crotch rockets” were zooming up and down the road in front of the hotel in the middle of the night and woke me up. Law enforcement should help the hotel maintain peace & quiet, especially at that hour.

Loved the location! Rooms were spacious and well-appointed. Restaurant was excellent and clean. Staff was super friendly.
If you're not used to traffic noise, it may be disruptive to hear the cars/trucks pass by on Rt 11.

I didn’t eat there
Bedspreads looked old and dirty.

I love the property, have stayed here many times.
I dont particularly like the “nessicary pre auth” thats needed for cards. I was trying to pay cash, and was unable to do so because the only card i had was in the negatives. Ended up having to find a new hotel.

Really comfy beds; very clean; friendly staff

This is now our go to when passing thru. This Inn is amazing super clean, large rooms, friendly service (Jackie was our waitress) she was amazing. They have a breakfast buffet that is extra from the price of the room but very reasonable. If you're in the area and need a room this is the place. We have been all the way across the country and by far this is the best place we stayed. Thank you all for doing such an outstanding job of keeping it up.
Absolutely nothing we didn't like, other than they need to expand on more locations. We will always stop here when passing thru wish they had more locations.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It was clean, comfortable and spacious after our long drive. Easy parking. We always try to stay where you don't have to take an elevator to bring all your stuff in.

By far, it's my favorite place to stay when visiting my daughter in college. Very clean rooms
There's nothing I don't like, except the mattress could be just a little softer.

The rooms are huge and clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a balcony out of the back of the room, the staff very friendly and accommodating.
This did not impact my stay, but the carpets are a bit dingy and should be replaced.

The Village Inn was one of the nicest of the 50 motels we stayed in on our epic 11,000 mile road trip through Canada and around the United States. The rooms were gorgeously decorated with a deck that overlooked a lovely meadow with a brook. All was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. We stayed for breakfast at the attached restaurant. For $11 per person, we enjoyed the most fabulous brunch imaginable. There is no way to describe the incredible variety and delicious quality of food!! You must experience it for yourself. I would go at least once a week if we didn't live thousands of miles away. I still dream about it.
This place is perfection!!

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The room was comfortable and clean. I was very surprised by the balcony. There was a beautiful view of the mountains. We didn't take breakfast, it was $10 per person, but I saw this restaurant and the breakfast looked very good. We will definitely come back.

Great location, very nice large room. Very clean and well maintained.
The restaurant wasn't open for dinner.

Clean, spacious rooms & pretty setting in Shenandoah Valley, & convenient to Bridgewater College - our destination.
4.5
Spacious, comfy room, better looking than typical motel. Outdoor porch off room was a nice bonus. Nice to have a loveseat in the room. Fresh cookies and lemonade for guests in lobby. Felt safe.
Amenities weren't great (weak coffee, non-foaming shampoo), but expected for lower price point. Bathroom door didn't latch and light over bathtub was out, so no fun bathing at night.

room was very clean, liked the private entrance to the room. smelled nice. Pleasant staff. Would book again. breakfast @ 9.99 a person had a lot of choices, clean, and nice staff there as well.
Scratchy towels, room-controlled temperature, was a lot to be desired. Could not get it to cool off the room, which lead to keep the unit turned off and the room got stuffy. I would have preferred to have the controls at the floor unit like before. I thought breakfast was included when I booked??

Rooms are large and all first floor
outside grounds all beautiful
location is great
