overbooked and sent away

Hotel was over booked and we had to leave. The next lady in line went to her room and came back down because she found her bed unmade.

Good value for money. Staff were friendly.

Facilities were clean but tired.

The hotel needs some updating - but they are doing work on it. It’s just tired and needs refresh.

Discouraging.

It was close to the Botanical Garden and Galena.

The woman in charge of the breakfast area was friendly and tried to be accommodating. However, the breakfast was lacking. The bacon/sausage was not available, the bread choices were few, the only fruit available were oranges and one of them was moldy. There was a notice on the doorknob stating that if you wanted housekeeping to NOT post the sign. When we came back to the room, the bed had not been made and no towels had been given. When we mentioned this, we were told we had to ask specifically So the signage had no meaning. This will not be a place we will be staying at again. In fact, we are pretty much done with Holiday Inn Express as a whole.

Took my son out for a weekend when he was visiting from another state. Good location

excellent breakfast - nice selections

The walls are a little thin. We could hear people talking in the adjoining room. They weren't yelling just normal volume but they quieted down pretty early.

Nice for what we needed.

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable.

The shower didn't drain completely and we had to ask for towels more than once.

It was an ok hotel.

Staff was very helpful.

Key cards never worked. Side entrance handle was ready to fall off, when pulled on. Never any towels in the pool area. Couldn't get extra bedding or pillows with our pull out bed. Had to buy our own. Front entrance door didn't work. Carport roof was getting worked on, right next to our room window. And the wind was blowing plastic all over the place, making loud flapping noises by our window, which kept our kids up at night.

Stay was only ok. Value was not. Way out away from casino where we attended a show.

Beds were ok but sheets slid off the bed because they used a king mattress pad on a queen bed and they moved all over.

Rooms need updating. Old furniture, carpet and patched areas in the bathroom and paint spots instead of a whole wall or ceiling being done as it should be.

Staff were very friendly, room was big enough, bed was comfortable, the pool and hot tub were nice, the breakfast was a good amount of foods (not just cereal and bread), the facility was clean, the facility was easy to get to

We picked the first floor due to location but should have picked a different floor. The first floor was loud at night from other guests both in the parking lot and the hallway. It did not wake up our small child but it woke me up. I never like hotel lobby coffee and this was no exception. It was very bitter but there was plenty of other local coffee to go enjoy.

Location. Breakfast was good.

Our fan would not run continually. The phone cord did not stay plugged in-the jack was broken. Fridge had been defrosted but all the water was on the tray and so there was water all over in the fridge.

Door keys on the outside very poor. Wet carpet in the room, no Kleenex, water leaking around the base of the stool. Shortage of staff.

property was good. Clean. Presentable. breakfast was good. water pressure was good.

the rooms were just okay. The floor in our room felt damp. if we didn’t have our air in 68 it got humid. the toilet in our room the water was so low In the actual bowl. so when you flushed it water would spit up at you because of how it is designed. the toilet in my friends room had an ear piercing alarm for when the toilet had too much pressure. when that happens he was to flush it. the alarm went off at 3am both nights we stayed.
