I came from bogota with one stop and I was really tired. I booked my hotel and went there. They didn’t give me my room and they said we couldn’t see your information on system so you have to cancel your book and pay us cash in this way we can give room but if I cancel
My book, I’ll be charged. They waited us for 20 minutes and then I called someone about it after they gave us our room. That’s nonsense. İf you don’t want to be charger with fees don’t use Booking.com and that’s why they said cancel your book pay us cash!

The proximity to the arena.
Before I even could get into my room I was met with terrible customer service. I asked the front desk a question about what the room was like or located and instead of responding to the question she just said so you would like to cancel the reservation? Like no ma’am I asked a simple question about your location and was met with hostility not hospitality

Nothing
They took me 50 $as a deposit and gave me back on the next day, but I stole off cause of exchange rates! There was a big dead cockroach on the floor

The room was not much cleaned: I found long hairs in the bed and in the restroom

Location is great, We loved Chinatown and all the amazing food and shopping there. Staff were mostly helpful and desk was always staffed.
Air conditioner in room didn't work well, and by the end of our stay our room stank of sweat. We were provided only a few towels for a weeklong stay, and when we asked for more were simply handed a couple and sent on our way. Room only came with one roll of toilet paper, which led to me having to rush down to the lobby with my partner on the toilet to get another.

Clean but very basic.
Very basic . Run down . Not even a paper cup in the room .
Hotel is in need of refurbishment

Liked the location
The place was filthy. No fridge, no tea and coffee or drinks available. The rooms need renovating. Curtains hanging off the rail. Bathroom filthy and shower poor.

La ubicación
La habitación muy sucia.
The room was dirty, the sheets felt dusty, so I asked for clean sheets, however, all my family woke up with bites on their bodies. I think the mattresses had ants or something that causes the bites, the floor, the night tables look dusty like nobody had touch that room in years. Also no elevator and the stairs became difficult with the bags and my mother

Great location inside beautiful Chinatown, full of shops and restaurants around. Not far away from the metro station so you can easily reach any place of Chicago.
Dirty carpet, bad smell everywhere, on some nights people shouting in the corredor. But what is worst, no room service: useless putting the request on the door or ordering the cleaning! During my 4 days stay nobody came to clean my room. After my complaints, they gave me clean sheets (which I was supposed to change myself) and new soap / shower gel. I travel very often but this is the very first time it happens to me.

Nice newer air conditioner.
Shower needs to be resealed in 308. Leaks bad.

Friendly receptionist. Convenient location.
Please give complimentary coffee to guests! People are addicted to that stuff nowadays and coffee shops around there open at 7am!

The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, even willing to chat a little.
The location was perfect. The very center of Chinatown, it felt like being in China again, and it was across the street from the redline train to take us into downtown quickly and easily. We were only 15-20 minutes away from anything we wanted to do in Chicago.
The whole building smelled. I got used to it but it was rank. Some guests used pot, which was another smell on top of the already weird smelling motel.
The rooms were so cold every night we cold barely sleep. The front desk gave us as many blankets as we wanted but had no extra pillows. The heater was so weak, we kept it running the whole time we were there and it just barely kept the room at survivable temperatures.
We were booked on the third floor, and there’s no elevator, so we had to walk up and down several times a day. After walking around downtown all day, coming back to 3 flights of stairs isn’t great.
The description on Booking.con says “yes, we have secure parking,” but when I arrived the staff told me that was incorrect and we’d have to find parking on our own. I personally think it’s horrible business to charge $100+ a night and then also make guests pay for parking too. But at least there is parking that way. Here I just had to roll the dice and hope to find a spot. I got lucky and found one at the very end of the street, but to keep it for the whole weekend my car was effectively grounded, or I’d risk having no spot.
The rooms don’t have little fridges, so I had nowhere to keep drinks or leftovers from restaurants.

Location. Friendly front desk & staff overall.
Some rooms should have a mini-frigde (for drinks) & a microwave (for leftovers). A couple coin-op laundry machines would help too.

It's a location in the heart of Chinatown, easy access to subway. That's the best quality.
The rooms smell of heavy cigarette smoke. There is garbage all over the hallways just sitting around. The rooms are dirty. The place is expensive for a dirty, smelly, smokey, dismal room. What's more, the quality of the hotel has declined in recent years, in short, the place is getting worse. The standards have become so bad, I can't stay at this hotel anymore. To make matters worse, they no longer even have coffee, and it was always bad coffee, anymore. Pass.
