Not the cleanest place but kids loved the pool, mini golf, air table, pool table and hang out room.

Mini golf, pool, air hockey, pool table, other games and hang out room. Room available to sleep 6. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Property is about 1 mile from the beach but you need to drive due to the incline. Ice machine down the hall.

Room not as clean as expected upon arrival (hair in bathroom and tables felt sticky) and room never serviced during 3 night 4 day stay which caused trash to overflow and would have been nice to have fresh towels after 2-3 days. Wristband for amenities were cumbersome and it even woke some of my kids at night because they would move and it would scratch them. We were afraid to take it off them because we were told they could not get another one if lost.

Perfect stay for me while my family camped at the beach!

Pool, jacuzzi, mini golf, game room, all was a great first experience for me and my family.

Nice place, too bad it was loud at night

Nice space for 3 of us. Facilities and grounds are beautiful.

Phone system didn’t work to call front desk on cell or otherwise. There was a loud group partying until daylight our last night there and kept us awake until dawn. With no one to call we chose the suffer with it rather than confront a bunch of young drinking people at 4am

In all, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had even in 5 star hotels

The one bedroom suites are wonderful. I felt like a guest staying at someone’s home. Very calming atmosphere with attentive staff. The restaurant on site, Riviera, has delicious gourmet meals with outstanding service. I loved everything about this hotel and will definitely stay there again.

Stayed for three nights and it was great! 3-5 min drive from downtown San Clemente. Nice room.

Very clean and spacious hotel room with a bit of an ocean view. The balcony was great. Hot water lasted a long time and never went cold. The full kitchen with dishwasher was nice and convenient. The room looked modern and was designed/decorated well.

The main issue that I had was the bed and pillows. The mattress was really hard (and I prefer more of a firm mattress) and the pillows were too big and propped my head and neck up too high, resulting in bad neck and back pain. I know mattress and pillow preference is subjective, but the bed was really, really hard to me. Maybe having a few different pillows with different thickness levels would have helped. If you can, bring your own pillow. The other things that could be improved upon is having velcro or snaps or something to make the blackout curtains close fully in the middle. They overlapped but still allowed some light to come in, which was distracting to me because I need total darkness to sleep well. And eventually updating the sink faucets and handles to match the rest of the room because they look pretty dated compared to the rest of the room. Also, the sliding door and screen to the balcony were a little rickety and hard to close. Overall it was a great room, these are just my nitpicky thoughts.

Room service staff have no standards, sometimes they do good job sometimes they don't do anything, for example coffee is not always replenished, the phone in my room is not working, I cannot contact the front desk or room service, the bedsheets are not being changed, I paid extra money to have the hotel change the bedsheets,

Passable

Initially refused to let us leave luggage behind front desk on day of checkout. We did not have to leave for airport until 4pm, so wanted to explore. Then agreed to let us leave luggage but only if we paid for additional half day room rate. So basically wanted $80.00 to keep luggage for 4 hours.

Great Choice.

The hotel has a good location close to Trestles for surfing and also walking distance to the beach.I totally will come back and recommend! The room has a kitchen super convinient for longer stays.
