There is a live-in man at this hotel who is very rude everything else is wonderful and a beautiful sight

charming old house, friendly staff, decent breakfast
room was a little chilly, poor lighting in the bathroom

I like the style of the building, picturesque breakfast, authentic interior, especially area on the 1st floor. free parking.
Shared bathroom (I was fully aware of it but still should mention).

!Service. room and breakfast were exceptional! Excited to hear there's a location in Nantucket
.Didn't realize shared bathroom in hallway. Worked out OK because no other guests.

Host was very friendly. We stayed in the garden room and it was very cute and cozy. A big plus was the free parking just steps away.

We love the Bed and Breakfast feel and the old antique house it was clean comfortable and very inviting. The check in lady and the Chambermaid were so nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back soon, and hopefully the breakfast around the table will be still going then and get rid of this stupid covid. The breakfast basket that they brought us was really nice, due to covid there was no breakfast gathering but hopefully that will change. Overall we really enjoyed this place and will be back there or the looking glass again.
Nothing to complain about. Great place and great people and great price.

Carpet was very aged.

The breakfast was good, the overall place was very nice. I really like old buildings and houses so that's what attracted me to the bed and breakfast. It was a very cute property and I was excited to be there. The place was clean and super adorable. The common areas were well kept and enjoyable to be in with lots of history in the home.
I went into labor 3 weeks early, six days before my stay, which was a day too late for regular cancellations. I understand not letting me cancel, but they also wouldn't let me switch dates so that it worked in both of our favors. I didn't want to be out of the money with a newborn, so my mom stayed the first night and we stayed the 2nd night after we were released from the hospital. I do wish they would have worked with me, because I will not be staying there again. Also, the chambermaid was extremely rude and passive aggressive towards us. He could have been a lot more polite to guests staying there.

Beautiful bed and breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful! the gentleman innkeeper was there if you needed him but discreet enough to enjoy our romantic evening! Amazing facilities!
The bed was uncomfortable but my husband is super picky and we haven’t found a bed he likes :) so not really a downside for most probably.

It's a really charming place to stay and lots of character throughout the building.

The breakfast was so bad! I asked to change my breakfast but they didn't do that!

We loved the historic feel. The staff was excellent especially D. Perkins who went above and beyond to make people feel at home.
We liked everything about it

This was our first time staying at a B&B. I would recommend this to anyone, the house is very clean and the staff were inviting and very pleasant. Great experience and would stay again. Location is good as well, walking distance to many good restaurants.

Don’t really like muffins, or yogurt, but, with the pandemic, there were’t really many other options.
Would have liked croissants, or some option that wasn’t sweet.

Having to share a bathroom.

Staff is exceptional. The place is well maintained and cleaned. The amenities are far above expection. Id come again.

The atmosphere was exceptional. It felt like we were in a murder mystery, minus the murder thankfully.
That we could not have stayed longer.
4.3
It was a lovely place in the heart of the historic district. Terrific staff, who were very knowledgeable in the history of the home, were there to greet us. The Craftsman room was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable. The price was right in line with regular hotels if not better. Will definitely stay again!!!
Breakfast wasn’t what I expected for a bed & breakfast, but they really tried to make it special nonetheless...considering Covid restrictions and all.

The location was close to many shops and restaurants. The inn itself is gorgeous, had the spa tub in room, and was the feel we were aiming for ( for the most part).
The furniture in the room was not comfortable. Need a love seat or small couch or something that is more comfortable than the wicker chairs. I was expecting a bit more privacy, we were right up against another loft and we smelt all the food they cooked and heard most of their stay.
4.3
The room provided robes, the breakfast basket was amazing and overflowing, it was such a home away from home feeling.
No complaints.
