Location was good and price was good,
Bugs and spider in the bathroom. Charge an extra $100 cash deposit at check in. Then at check out, $30 was deducted because of small stain on sheet. Basically we paid for a new set of sheets. My husband said we should have taken the sheets with us since we bought them.

Friendly staff, clean and huge quiet room! Perfect after a long flight and short drive late at night! Thank you 🙏

cleaning lady was perfect! Helped me with my laundry, kept the room and hotel very clean. Bed was especially wonderful.
Thank you all!
Fresh paint in the hallways, new carpet in rooms Coffee machine in Office would be helpful, along with some fresh bakery, fruit, etc. Not very expensive, but just like a big hotel.

I was surprised - completely surprised - by the comfortable bed, linens and soft, fresh towels. The room and hotel property did not look like it would feature those items. I was shocked to find the bed and linens so nice...
The property is very tired and old-feeling. There were many places where the flooring, walls, doors, stairs were dirty and lacking paint. The curtains in the room were horrible... they were literally torn and falling off the rod. My window looked out over the gas station which is open 24 hours with lights, etc. There was a wall heater unit that warmed the room sufficiently and the hallway from the door (which opened up onto the stairwell) prevented the cold air from coming into the room. The bathroom was small and lacked counter space. There was an old and broken single cup brewer with an extra roll of tp on it... barely any room to put my items. The room has very old carpet, but it felt clean enough.

The property was well-maintained, with furniture, fixtures, and finishes that are clearly dated. However, it was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable and the staff were an absolute delight. In addition, you can’t beat the location—a short walk to the downtown area at a fraction of the cost of the big brand hotels in the area.

Nice place and nice and quiet for the most part !
Close to the train.
No breakfast bar

Needs to be clean better

Staff were lovely, good location.

The price was pretty good and the location was close to everything downtown.
It was one of the most dilapidated, old and dirty places I have ever stayed in. I was not terribly surprised given the previous reviews, but it was much lower quality than the countless Motel 6s I have stayed in. The reception was also without a smile or any indication that they were happy to see me. None of this offended me. I just think that future guests should be aware of what they will be getting. Again, since the price is cheap and the location good, it is just something that reasonable travelers need to expect and not get upset about.

The location beds very comfortable. Clean
Desk clerk was not very friendly. Actually he was down right rude

The location is good.
You need to pay a $100 deposit and they don't give you any receipt. The room was old and run down. The price was good but I wouldn't stay there again.

It was a big room above the office and the furniture was cool. Always the same person at the desk, never had a problem with anything there.
I think the place just needs a little touch up around the corners. Minor details need some attention but overall, a good place.

Late check-in was appreciated. Due to unexpected delays, we didn't check-in until 2am. Was happy to get out without bedbugs.
Room was dirty in every corner and crevice. The bathroom door would get stuck and needed a big yank to open. Walls, furniture and trim were all either missing paint or damaged.

The Temperpedic mattresses. best sleep in a long time. very clean bathrooms. Beautiful art deco headboards and table.
would like more space for computers; we are two people who need space.

location was very good. It was near very nice places and restaurants
it was too dirty and outdated. I did not feel very safe while in the place

It was quiet and room a nice size.
The shower was so bad we were not able to use it. The tile paint was peeling off and there was a lot of mold. We booked for a pool. The pool was green and not ready for use.

Comfortable beds, clean room, nice tv. Had more amenities than I expected. I also appreciated the touches of character in the room.
The surrounding area is a bit sketchy with lots of vagrant foot traffic through the parking. That combined with the very high property crime rates in downtown SLC made me careful to park in a well lit area near the front desk. I had no issues on my particular trip.
The elevators are old and pretty sketchy as well.

The location was great for us, in walking distance of our destinations and plenty of food options. Parking lot is well lit and safe. Nice wood deco furnishings, very clean and tidy. Simple.
Our check in wasn't very welcoming for certain but the checkout was nice and they let us stay parked after checkout to have breakfast across the street.

Bed, TV.
Hallways, stairwells.
