The hotel location was great, 7 minutes walking to SAP and San Pedro is down 2 blocks. The receptionist was friendly, provided a glass of champagne when welcoming us and as we entered the hotel there was a nice fragrance. The hotel was clean, very elegant for the price (good value), bed very comfortable and would highly recommend đź‘Ś

Room and Bathroom excellent!
Great location and near SAP center.
Staff was very friendly. Melanie was great!
2.5 / 5.0
I liked what the hotel tries to aspire to be like an old silver screen type place. The room we got was very small but bathroom was nice. Furniture showing lots of wear chipped counter in room and a light flickering in shower. Overall maintenance should be a priority more there. Being a Hyatt owned hotel you’d expect breakfast after paying $250 for one night. Bar in hotel closes at 10pm which is strange for opening at 5pm.
Cost is high for what you get, no continental breakfast small room for the cost no microwave. Aging of furniture and carpet.

The staff were amazing. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I really liked the location as well.
The carpets were dirty.

Location
Rooms were not up to par. Not everything worked.
1.5 / 5.0
Convenient walk to downtown eateries.
The cold water in the shower did not work. The phone to call downstairs did not work. 2 lights in the room (one vanity for makeup and 1 bedroom light) did not work. TV didn’t work, channels didn’t change and menu was not brought up. The USB port to charge phone, did not work.

The room
Having to pay $47 to park a motorbike outside for the night.

Parking was outrageous. Valet took forever. I would call and it would take 20 minutes to get car. No coffee bar on site other than the cheap pods in the room. Overall just way too expensive for an old, dingy hotel. The bed was hard and the pillows were worn out. I would not stay here again as the price is not in line with the quality.

Nice rooms, lovely bathrooms with enjoyable amenities. Beds were very comfortable and besides the quiet hum and hustle of the city streets outside I did not hear the other guests in the hotel. Theres even an airport nearby and planes fly somewhat close to the hotel on landing routes. Never heard a single plane.
Housekeeper started cleaning our room before we finished the check out process. We had been at an anime convention and as such we had been cosplaying. The housekeeper had thrown our wigs into the trashbag already, we were able to recover them, but they had been slightly damaged and this was very distressing to my partner who had put alot of work into the wigs. Also this place won't let you pay in cash and put the deposit for the room on a card, whole stay had to be paid with using my bank card. Could've been disastrous for our weekend if we had gotten to town after my bank closed.

Location to freeway. Comfort
TV didn't work even after I spoke to front desk. Pillows were awful. Please supply pillows of different heights and softness. Street noise was louder than I expected being on the 9th floor.

Clean and within walking distance to restaurants and the SJ Sharks.
Didn’t know that we would have to pay $40 a day for parking. Added an additional $120 to our bill.

The location was close to SAP.
The bed was uncomfortable, the coffee machine didn't work and ate the coffee pods they provide without making coffee. The valet mixed up my vehicle on pickup and left my lights on which killed my battery when leaving.

The location was ok in downtown San Jose.
Hotel was just generally grubby. No facilities to speak of.

the location was great. walkable to many amenities. very clean and updated older building. friendly staff. fast elevators.
the beds were rock hard. i wasn’t able to sleep more than a couple of hours each night. all the furniture is more for ascetics rather than comfort. extra charges that I was unaware of before booking like a non refundable incidentals charge.

it was really close to the SAP centre which was perfect as we were there to watch The Sharks play (ice hockey). Room was standard , bathroom clean, good shower with plenty of towels.
We had 2 x Small double beds which was suppose to accommodate 4 people. I’d recommend 2 rooms for 4
