Location, price, pools, pet friendly, comfortable beds
Stained blanket, trash buckets were nasty. One had mold, the other had dried vomit

Location good and breakfast good.
Very "tired" facility. In need of very significant updating.

Location atmosphere price beds pools
Our slider was not working the best
3.5
the location, close to outlets and attractions and the fact that we could bring our dog with us while in vacation; friendly staff, good breakfast; nice amenities, especially the outdoor pool
the hotel is outdated and it smells very badly of dump, the carpets are moist and smelly; Large bathroom but no place to put anything! Weird. The room's free toiletries are scarce.

Location and dog friendly
The AC didn’t work in the room so it was hotter in the room than outside. There were no windows we could open to get some air in. It was buggy. The staff was never able to help with issues with booking. I tried to contact them multiple times before the stay to try to change the dates to a different weekend but no one ever got back to me so we ended up going our regular dates then when we got there we found out they changed the dates on us and it was more money. So we stayed the original dates but paid more money since they changed the dates and we never got refunded.

I've done a spring ski bail-out during my wife's tax prep. season to No. Conway for years, usually staying happily at Green Granite and was surprised by some neg. reviews I'd seen prior to this trip and was really glad to find the same competently run place I've known for almost a decade now. Everything was fine, room was clean and ready, breakfast was still good quality, staff are both local and North Country nice by nature, and while not a 5 star lux hotel I'd give it a 4.8 on overall value and comfort level. I was even asked how my stay was at check-out with a fresh Starbucks in hand leaving.
There could have been a little more ski terrain open on Easter but THAT'S another whole review, ok...

The Green Granite location is the only thing good.
Once arrived the lady on the front desk gave us hard time to find our reservation she ask for the last name, which I provide but she mentioned that they did not have any reservation under my last name through booking.com, I handed over my ID and it didn't help, I proposed to give her my booking.com confirmation number so she can find the reservation easier but she was not interested, she keep asking for the last name. After a while she was looking through a bunch of paper (hard copies) and finally found the reservation and gave us the room. The room is very outdated, and dirty. The bed was very loud, you cannot move durong the night without the bed doing weird noises. Breakfast was dissapointing, low quality food and no variety. Overall Green Granite offers very poor quality for the price.

decent breakfast. Two pools that were nice. Good areas for gathering as a group inside and outside. Reasonably priced and reasonably clean. We like the balcony as well.
This needs to be updated. Bathroom fan didn't work, ironing board was missing and tub needed to be replaced. AC didn't work in common areas so those were very hot.

Location was great. Lobby was beautiful,
Phone in room did not work, two light switches in bathroom did not work. Outdoor pool needs work. Inside rooms need to be updated.

The location was great for us. The staff is very nice. Parking was fine always had a spot.
The room needed to be cleaner. coffee pot missing top so not able to make coffee. Tv would not work and breakfast was empty very early and not refilled often. coffee was not remade even though it was an hour before the cut off time.

It's a beautiful old fashioned New England style inn with lots of charm. It's bigger than in the photos with 2 pools, lots of parking and large common areas on the main floor and second floor.
Service was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely not my last stay here when passing through Conway.
Unfortunately I didn't get to experience much seeing that I arrived late and left the next morning. I would've liked to have stayed longer.

The distance to the outlets, and restaurants was very close.
The bedsheets were not changed. The bed was squeaking so much and not comfortable at all. The AC was too loud to have a good night sleep. All the furniture was dusty, the room smelt musty. Most of the buttons on the phone were removed. The AC out on the balcony has not been cleaned for a very long time. The bathroom has no fan for the humidity when you shower, due to that there was moId on the ceiling in the bathroom. I will definitely not taking this hotel my next trip🙁

The outdoor pool was great for the warm days

Bounimg around hotel to hotel and billing issues. Booking, com overbooked, but the green granite never notified us prior to our arrival. We werewolf sent to the holiday Inn express for one night, packing and unpacking with toddlers wasn't in our plans.

The property offered everything I needed, it was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t take advantage of the outdoor pool but it was nice and well maintained. There was a large playground and several picnic tables and charcoal grills available as well. I saw lots of happy families enjoying the facilities - facilities that chain hotels that are much more expensive don’t offer.
Green Granite in is a great value and I’d stay here again without a second thought!
The laundry facility seemed to need some work as the washer didn’t drain well. Still it worked and I had clean clothes in the end.

The room had excellent temperature control, very comfortable. The Starbucks machine in the lobby is awesome as well as having access to a microwave 24 hours a day. The pools, room and property were clean. There is a second-floor lobby with games and puzzles. Location is right in the middle of everything.
Breakfast could have been better, more fruit and gluten free options.

The breakfast was very good, great variety, something for everyone. The room was very good, large rooms. The indoor pool was very good as well as the hot tub. The location was good. North Conway gets quite congested though.
When we arrived we were told that we might not be able to stay there after booking 3 months in advance. We were told that Expedia over booked the Green Granite and we might have to stay at another hotel. Quite a shock with such advanced booking and calling the hotel directly to book the rooms. We asked to have rooms near each other and we did not the first night. This was very disappointing. Guests who book directly with the Inn should be first in line and some limit should be put on the Expedia thing. This however was taken care of when the room next to us was vacated and the second room was able to be switched to the one next to us. This is great for families. We were traveling with our daughter and son in law and two grand daughters and they could come and go between the two rooms. We really
liked that feature.

Room was nice and big.. Location - excellant. Breakfast - nice selection. Pools were great!!!
The sliding doors in our room were broken and there was no toilet paper holder. One of the double sliding doors came right out of the wall. Queen sleeper was not comfortable at all.

It was very clean and personnel were very friendly.
The rooms were very dark. And the mattresses were like blow up mattresses. Not comfortable.

The staff here was very friendly. The hotel is very confusing in the way that it looks very cute and nice from the outside, and even the lobby is beautiful!!!! They clearly have spent a lot of money investing into the lobby and common spaces, as there are many taxidermy bears and moose and a beautiful antique car. The couches and tables are very stylish and great quality, so overall the first impressions are very high!! And then you get to your room and get an entirely different space.
We called this hotel the “landlord special” because it reminded us of our college apartments where the landlords did the bare minimum to keep the space held together before passing it off to the next tenant. The carpet is clearly very old and dirty, and coming up in many places. The baseboards are missing, and the lights don’t work/are missing light ulna entirely. The thing that threw me off the most was the black smears and footprints on the walls, which I feel would be such an easy fix to add a little paint!!! Additionally, they were understaffed and didn’t offer house keeping or new towels unless you went downstairs to order them. Overall, these things made the room feel dirty and didn’t allow us to feel at home or comfortable there. I really wish there were some consistency to this hotel and that they maybe invested some of their money in a different way instead of keeping an elaborate lobby where no one spends their time during their stay.

The cleanliness was not good. Carpets, tub, floor, and room was not to par.
2.5
The location, playground and pools were good.
There was only one light bulb working in the bathroom, which made it hard to see. The phone was never plugged in, so it wasn't charged when we went to call the front desk. I tried their phone number using my cell but there was no answer.
