The location of hotel was perfect for us. We were attending an event 5 miles away and suited our needs well. We had a weekend motorcycle ride planned. We arrived Friday night and checked out Saturday morning. The weather was unseasonally warm and made for a perfect weekend in what is probably last long motorcycle ride of the year.
I wish we had a little more time to enjoy the hot tub and pool a little more than we did.

Good location. Cement pond indoors. Very nice staff.

Beds were comfortable. Location was convenient.
Way too much chlorine in pool. Breakfast was less than appealing and did not provide any options for low carb. There seemed to be a lot of rules.

Staff was great, amenities exceeded my expectations, breakfast, pool etc. Super clean room with micro, fridge, modern TV. I would book again and
Would highly recommend to others.

I liked the free newspaper and the complimentary breakfast
I couldn’t hear the lady at check in because the hole in the plastic is not where her mouth was. My fireplace in our room didn’t work and we told the desk 2 times never fixed. The coffee was like mud water , no fresh fruit, and only egg white sandwiches when I asked if they would replenish the egg sands they said they were wiped out it was 815 and breakfast goes til 10. Also I think pool should open before 9 am

Property was very clean, pool areas were clean also, towels available. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels. Breakfast was okay, grab and go. Staff was friendly, and helpful. Plenty of parking. Near Weirs beach, and restaurants. I would stay here again.
Only complaint, would like to have an area to eat breakfast.

Pools and hot tub were great. Plenty of parking. Convenient to restaurants, movie theater, shops and Laconia airport.
Dated, no elevator, staff was friendly but not accommodating.

Location was very good. Nice and clean.
The Wi-Fi was not a secure site. Never have I stayed at a hotel that didn’t have a secure WiFi. The staffs Wi-Fi was secure but not guests???

This is our 3rd year staying here. We love the cozy home-like vibes Fireside has to offer -from the front lobby area, to the pool/hot tub and the rooms. Never once had bad experience or a dirty room (which is a major plus in my eyes). Staff is always welcoming and friendly, it makes you feel like family. It's approximately 6miles or 15 minutes from Gunstock mountain, the main reason for our winter trip. We look forward to coming back in the winter of 23/24 for annual snowboarding/tubing/snowmobiling adventures.
Wish the exhaust fans in bathrooms works either automatically or with a switch

Not one thing !!! Beds are like laying on asphalt, there's a midnight curfew that was unknown to us wait for 20 mins in the snow an cold to get in building for the lady to be rude that we were tryn to get in didn't ask for room # till we were already thru the doors an your are not allowed to talk she chased us down to tell us that ....I do not recommend at all it's like stayn at a motel 6 but expensive

This is my 4th stay here and it is always so enjoyable. The room are nice and spacious. The staff is the nicest I have encountered and all local from New Hampshire which is useful as they can answer your questions when you're looking for something.
The pool is really nice and large unlike other hotels around, same thing for the Jacuzzi which fits 10+ people.
Only downside... The breakfast used to be really good and since COVID it's only a grab and go but with many options though.
Please Bring back your real breakfast!! Others still have it and it makes a difference but it's not a deal breaker
Breakfast though the grab and go options were plenty!

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and the bed was one of the more comfortable beds I've stayed in! The grab n go breakfast was a nice bonus too. We did not partake in the Jacuzzi but it looked lovely (pool too!). Nice big tv in room.
Rooms and decor are outdated and tired. More counter space in bathroom would be great. There's also not a regular cleaning service. You call if you need something. Lastly, a few pieces of fruit would be great to add to the breakfast!

The pool was good and the hours were better than most, staying open later.
It was a good location. The large restaurant and bagel/coffee shop across the street were very good and convenient.
The breakfast was all processed foods, I didn't feel comfortable eating any of the options while trying to eat healthily. I decide to give my toddler the food that I had brought for him over what was available.
The bed was really hard, by the second night I couldn't wait to go home to get a good night's sleep.
Most of ths staff I encountered was very friendly, but I did overhear one staffer complaining about me and my toddler to another because he knocked over a stack of towels and I tried putting them back. But they were obviously not nicely rolled as they had been.
I had hoped the lobby would have been a place to lounge ( by the "Fireside") but it's not really a place to spend more than 5 minutes.

Bed headboards had not been dusted but otherwise was very clean. Let the desk person know that some of the hand sanitizer stations were empty. He thanked us.
