It was near my family home so it was ok
Old flooring in hall gave it an order. Someone had a dog and it was barking a lot

Great value, great location for football and baseball in KC.
A great value and a great location for attending sporting events - in my case, I attended a few Royals games and toured GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on my trip. Both stadiums are within a 10-minute drive of the hotel. The hotel is just off the interstate, making getting around very easy. [However: the hotel is about 30 minutes from MCI airport.] There is a Hawaiian restaurant next door, which was delicious for lunch. Everyone I interacted with at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room I stayed in looked like it was renovated within the past few years. I'm glad I stay here and would stay here again.
I'm pretty no-fuss, so there's not usually anything I will complain about. If anything, the shower/tub was not very wide, so my feet were riding up the sides of the tub while I was taking a shower. But, that is very small beans in the grand scheme of things. The room wasn't gigantic, either, but I was traveling alone, so it was all I needed.

Good value for the money and proximity to the Chiefs/Royals is GREAT!
We did not eat breakfast at the motel. We went to Denny's, which happens to be just across the street. However, I have eaten breakfast at this motel before and it was decent.
Each time I stay here, and this time was no exception, my whole floor reeked of marijuana. I know that it is basically legal now in Missouri, but I expected the no smoking rule was supposed to be real. Apparently, you can't smoke cigarettes inside, but weed is OK. :-(

Meh
Our king-sized bed was really comfortable with plenty of pillows. The hotel was close to everything The air conditioner kept the room cold, although it was really loud and appeared to be locked up on one side(air only coming out of one side)
The front desk staff was rude. Once we finally made it to our room, we were hit with an awful wet-moldy smell. Our tv did not work all weekend. We called the front desk only to be told it was a cable - it wasn't. The tv was extremely old. They had a lamp on the desk - didn't work (yes, we checked, it was plugged in and had a light bulb-no power), and they had a lamp on both sides of the bed... one worked, and the other did not. My husband believes the outlets were bad in the room. The decor was nice above the bed... it appeared the room was in transition to being updated... the headboard, nightstands, desk, and tv stand were newer, but then the room still had the real old-fashioned borders. The bathroom could be updated. Just overall, it's not worth the $200+ we pd to stay. I'm so glad it was just my husband and I we didn't have our kids.
