Hotel is a bit worn out, although they are renovating. Value for the money not good at ty his point.

It is close to the university
There were laundry carts stored outside our room!!!! That was tacky and not becoming a Marriott!! They seemed short staffed in the restaurant knowing that there was a conventions and move in for the school

Location is very close to U of Utah Hospital, so a great place to stay, if a family member is being treated, or hospitalized there. Very quiet, spacious rooms
Every time we have been there, over the past 3-4 years, only one elevator is working. This can cause aggravating wait times.
Paying for parking now is a bit of a turn off. Also the exorbitant pet fee is not "pet friendly"
The Starbucks located on the premise makes lousy coffee. The foamed milk in our coffee tasted off đ

I really appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was amazing at check in. There was lots of options for eating in the morning and evening.
Everything was good. The hotel was under construction but everything still was clean and presentable.

Very comfortable bed
The hotel is undergoing renovations. Only one elevator was working, which was fine, but at $260 a night I was expecting much more than a run down facility. Room wasn't ready when we arrived. Was told they were so full they couldn't put us in a different room so we would have to wait. Checked back with the desk 45 minutes later. Room still wasn't ready, but low and behold, they could put is in one that was. Really? Couldn't the first person I spoke with have done that? Housekeeping seems severely understaffed, but they certainly cleaned the room well.

The hotel was spacious and comfortable. There are multiple places for sitting and some televisions showing sports or news for entertainment. Plenty of parking and easy to navigate. Bed was super comfortable. TV was large and had a clear picture. Domino's Pizza delivers right to your room.
Parking was $14/day; I feel that it should be included in the price of the room or free altogether. Room could have been a bit cleaner as there was a couple pieces of trash (water bottle lid) leftover from another guest. Could use some little updates such as more outlets near the bed. Would have been nice to have the option to crack the window open.

modern, comfortable and quiet room
Dining facilities mainly closed. Elevator very slow to arrive. Did not like charge for parking. Bathroom supplies were sparse.

The staff and house keeping.
Parking was not free though advertised. The elevators were extremely slow. Rooms dated. No safe in room. Refrigerator not working
6.0 / 10.0
I did like that the staff was friendly and helpful.
I really thought that it was not a great value. For the price, I expected this to be much better. The rooms were clean, but not always serviced. There was also a slight bug issue.

Location, comfortable beds, Starbucks, lounge area
Door to the bathroom in our room. It let's the light through and has little sound barrier so when someone is in there, it's like they have the door open, at night it was annoying because the light from the bathroom was bright.

location was great for the football game
I wasnât able to get into my room until 7:00pm. I was told they would text me when my room was available but that never happened. I just had to continue checking in with them and that was clearly Irritating them.
